One of the worst encounter i've ever had. I've got a flat on my tesla, called ahead and asked if they service teslas. The owner confidently said yes, and to tell me to come over. When I went over, I first noticed that he was not using the hockey pucks that tesla's need to be jacked up. I asked if he doesn't need the hockey pucks, and he stated that he has done a bunch of these, and you don't need the hockey pucks. He was touching for the place to Jack up. And he was using the flat Jack. So I thought it was okay. Then, he proceeded to use the round jacks that you'd definitely need to use the hockey pucks, or else you'll damage the batteries. I promptly stopped him and said, hey, the battery's down there. I don't think you should do that. He immediately got frustrated and said I could take the car somewhere else. I told him I was sorry and I told him he could do whatever he wants Because I needed this flat tire fixed. He used then the flatjacks to lift up my car a little bit, but he cannot take the wheel covers out. He proceeded to tell me to put my car in neutral So the brakes come off. But I told him that I would need to stay in the car to do that. And if I leave the car, then the car's automatically going to go in parking mode. I don't think you need to go on neutral. For you to have your car tire patched for teslas I definitely had it patched somewhere else. And they didn't have to do it. At this point I was thinking this guy didn't know what he was doing with Tesla's and I told him I'll go somewhere else. I asked him if I could have some air in the tire. So that I have enough air to go to the other place. He had the air hose in his hand and then proceeded to tell me that this does not work. And I could just use the air vac outside. Overall, horrible customer service. I also just was not knowledgeable about teslas and still told me to come which wasted a huge amount of my time. So do what you will with this review.I don't think I would recommend this place at all.

I was in DC and I had brake problems. This shop fixed my car without an advanced appointment and did a complete brake replacement in one day. The price was reasonable. The people were understanding, friendly and instantly trustworthy.

I have been with Mr. Lee for over 20 years and he has taken care of all of my vehicles. Whenever I purchased a new vehicle, I would have my 1st oil change by him (that's how much I trusted him to take my brand new car to him for it's first everything to be service). Also, his assistant (whom he trained, Phillip is very good as well) He has always been fair. I do however question some of his other workers as they sometimes are late and are not as pleasant.

We’ve been going to Mr Lee for over 10 years and LOVE it. He does great work and is no nonsense. He charges fair rates and will tell you if a repair is likely to be a high cost. He keeps very clean shop and will often take a few minutes to give a quick diagnosis between jobs. The signs mentions Toyota/Lexus and Honda/Acura, but he’s comfortable with many brands.

Do not go to Lee's Auto Service. Our car broke down and we used AAA to tow to the nearest shop in DC, and Lee greeted my wife with a joke about not knowing many women drove stick shift... He replaced our alternator and sealed a crack in the oil pan for $900. He performed his work quickly, which we appreciated at the time, until a week later our car broke down again after the engine started rattling. This time we paid to get it towed to our family's regular shop, who confirmed the alternator was not properly attached (the screws were not fully tightened), which caused the belt to come off and get shredded. I called Lee after the second repair to ask for reimbursement on the cost of the tow and second repair (around $200), and he refused and threatened to take me to court. He was clearly not interested in keeping a customer. It was an unfortunate day that led me to Lee's Auto Service. Good luck to the rest of you.
