I went for a pre-purchase inspection. Meg was the person I worked with to schedule and was very helpful. It was super straightforward with it taking about an hour and 20 min to do the inspection. Afterward, a technician went through the report line by line with me and shared a handy link with me that included the entire report. The service was just around ~$200. They were very objective and didn't do any upselling after getting me the report. Super professional and easy to work with.

I was thankful to get an appointment through the online scheduling system for the next day after my starter malfunctioned. I appreciated the diagnosis of the issues, communication and reasonable time for completion of repairs. We’ve been to Old Ox a few times. We appreciate this neighborhood business.

The people at Old Ox Tire absolutely could not have been nicer or more helpful. I had a flat and the car was in my garage and could not be driven the short distance to their store. They came to me , put on my temporary tire then I drove it to the store to put my new tire. They were also so fast. The price was exactly as estimated. I will definitely go back. The fact they were so pleasant, called back when they said the would and were so polite was such a pleasant, welcome change to most store employees and service providers in DC. Thanks again! 10 out of 10

Great service and responsive. I had a scheduled appointment that was 3 days out but needed to adjust and do it early. I texted to see if it was possible and received an immediate response. Was able to go in within 30 minutes, dropped the car off around 11:30 and picked it up at 4:30pm already services - oil change, tire rotation, and steering column inspection for a slight noise. They did not try to upsale me on stuff that I didn’t need. We even went for a road test to ensure they understood what was going on before they did their inspection. Very appreciative of this client-centered approach. Highly recommend, plus their pricing also beats dealerships by a mile. Check it out for yourself.

Great neighborhood place. Good people, clear communication. I trust them when they explain which repairs are important and which ones can wait. Prices will be on the upper end, but I’ve never felt taken advantage of. Customer for 3+ years with a 10 year old CR-V. Would recommend avoiding Honda dealers in the DMV.
