Where do I start. This was the absolute WORST mechanic I’ve ever been to. I crashed my car on a Friday night. Tore my axel completely up. I got the car towed to Queens Auto Body on Sunday. For starters, they aren’t very responsive as it pertains to updates. I had my boyfriend call multiple times a day and either they “hadn’t looked at the car yet” or “he was waiting on his mechanic to get there.” My car sat for days. The third day, they finally told me what was wrong and how much it would cost. My total was $2600 and was told that they needed a $1200 deposit to get the parts and only cash. 1st red flag. I had my boyfriend take the cash to them same day. A few days later they called us and said they forgot to order a part, and that they would need $300 more in cash. Meaning, we would have to make a second trip to DC (We live in PG). Paid Charles (the owner) the $300 and asked when they thought the car would be done. He said Saturday. It’s been over a week at this point. We called Saturday and was told that the car wouldn’t be ready until Tuesday. On top of what I was already paying him, I was already spending $700 on a rental and would now have to pay even more to extend the time. Surprisingly, Charles called us on Saturday to come pick up the car and said it was done. I ran to get the remaining balance in cash and went to go pick up my car. This is where it gets bad. Less than a week later, I’m driving on the highway and my car starts to make the most insane sound I have ever heard. The steering wheel was shaking uncontrollably when I got up to 60mph. It sounded like someone was banging a brick against the wall. I called Charles and told him what was going on. He insisted that it was the brakes (which did need to be fixed) but the sound was not due to brakes at all. Not even related to brakes. He said to bring the car back in and he would charge me $300 to change the brakes, which I obviously declined. I ended up taking my car to the Nissan dealership. They called me after the diagnoses was done and said “Did you just have work done on your car? Specifically your axel?” I said yes and told them what was done/replaced on my car. They immediately said that there was a piece that was put on wrong and that it had to now be replaced, and as a result of it being put on wrong I also needed a new tire. Another week without my car, and more money spent on a rental. My total from Nissan was $1200 on top of the money I had already paid Queens Auto Body to fix the issue. I confronted Charles about it and asked that his company pay for the work I had to get done again due to his mechanics mistake. He declined. Overall worst experience. I believe he meant well, but the way this was handled was unacceptable and unprofessional. Getting the discount isn’t worth it. The least he could’ve done was give me a partial refund. Taking it to small claims court.

Might not look like much from the street but MAN they do quick and great work! Came to get a dent out of the front fender preventing the driver door from opening. Literally fixed in 5 minutes and didn’t break the bank! Can’t go wrong here and will totally be back, knowing driving in dc is always crazy!

My wife had her car repainted at Queens many years ago. She has had several cars since that time. She still talks about how good a job they did on her car. I agree that they do excellent work and would recommend their shop to all.

Mr. Charles Queen are both Experienced and Professional. I needed a paint job and bodywork. My car looks brand new and the price was fair.
