Amazing! Comprehensive. Responsive. More affordable than any other quote you're going to get, including from folks literally on the same street, or anywhere in Silver Spring. (I got quotes three or four times what A Quality offered, and with vastly less convenient timelines, locations, etc).

DO NOT COME HERE. There were more things wrong with my car after I left than before I brought it in. I came in with 2 error codes and left with 7 (see upper right hand corner or picture). The shop wanted over $3,000 dollars to fix the issues they "found" and I had to pay a $75 "diagnostic fee" for leaving without subjecting myself to their extortion. This shop is either incompetent or malicious. DO NOT COME HERE.
Minute Coding
I went to this shop to get my car's radiator flushed. The owner convinced me that I needed my radiator and all 4 motor mounts replaced as well. The total quote initial quote came to be $840. I agreed to the price. He informed me to provide a $200 deposit, and I obliged. The owner informed me the part was delivered, and I I dropped the car off on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 7:30am. From my previous mechanics I've had, I've dropped my car in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. This was not the case with Mr. Chen, I had to call every day in order to request the status of the vehicle to see if it was ready in the afternoon for pickup. I finally received my car on Monday, May 5, 2025. Explanation of the delay: The part that was given to the mechanic was broken (I understand, no problem). However, the lack of updates is not justified. The consumer shouldn't have to constantly reach out daily to find out if the car is ready for pickup. Surprise bill: When I received my car, the charge was an additional $936 on top of the $200 deposit. I had no grounds for contesting the bill, since I didn't have an initial written quote; this is on me. When I informed the clerk that it was different from the quote agreed on, she stated it was due to the 4 motor mounts; once again, because I don't have a physical initial quote, just a verbal agreement of work to be done, I am unable to challenge her statement. Moral of story: Always have a printed/written quote from the mechanic; if using that shop and giving a deposit, walk away with a QUOTE not just the receipt of the deposit. DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS SHOP WITHOUT A QUOTE. I gave this shop 3 stars, due to the service being rendered, but the communication and organization being lacking.

I had accidentally dented friend’s car door and front panel on weekend. We were glad A Quality was open on Sat, called and Mr. Chen said to bring car in. The friend had to leave town by Monday evening and Mr. Chen/A Quality were able to squeeze us in, get the body work done on time so we could pick up by end of day on Monday. Good service, excellent work. Thank you.
