I came here for a repair to only receive misleading information and have my vehicle further damaged . The estimate costs and diagnostic from this AAA was inaccurate from the other repair shops. The AAA shop did not even report the same damage as the other shop and there was additional damage that AAA did not even find and I can see it in the pictures . The price difference was $5500 compared to the AAA price which was more than $2000 cheaper. This is not because they are cheaper but because not all the damage was not reported in their diagnostic . Aside from the price the service was poor as they threw in whole parts of my vehicle in the backseat scratching up the interior. Furthermore, the staff at AAA said the vehicle was safe to drive home so I trusted them but the vehicle was not safe to drive. The vehicle didn’t start so I asked for help to which they did and it worked for seconds . After 1 minutes of driving I started having acceleration issues and field of vision obstruction. I lost trust in this shop as I saw that I could not go back and believe they would do the repairs. See the pictures for yourself.

Came in for an oil change a few weeks back after being sent a promo to try out the AAA car care center. I made my appointment online. I was met with Scott France, the manager, who quickly checked me in. He explained how long my oil change would take and showed me to the waiting area. After a thorough check, Scott recommended some repairs which I politely declined without feeling pressured. Scott knew I had an appointment backed up to this one and his team worked quickly to check my oil. Prior to coming I read the reviews and was worried that I would not have a good experience but I am happy to say I will be back. Not only was Scott kind, efficient and helpful but the location is clean and inviting. Thanks for a quick and easy oil change!

I'm so glad T-Mobile gave me a free AAA membership! My experience with the Abingdon location was excellent! I sincerely want to thank Scott, Blake, Supreme, and the lovely Ms T for their professionalism, humor they were very knowledgeable and kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle daily. Ms T got me in a rental in less than 15 min. I really appreciate her attention to my situation. I will absolutely use them again! Also the tow truck driver got to me within 45 minutes and he told me not to worry about my vehicle it was in good hands. He also texted and called me to let me know his ETA, very professional and nice.

I have a AAA membership so when my car wouldn't start I called them. The mechanic, who was excellent, came to my house and told me the battery was very low. He quoted two prices for two different batteries for me to choose from. The most expensive battery with labor- $273. However, when he checked my service engine light he suggested I go to the repair shop to have everything looked at. I went, and they did a diagnostic eventhough the mechanic looked at the car when it was at my house and told me what the issue was. I wasn't super upset about this because I was there to have everything checked. My problem was they charged me $170 for that diagnostic none of which was applied to my bill. They also gave me higher price for the battery. When I questioned why, they said my car takes the big battery. I told them the mechanic explained that to me so why is the price different if you work for the same company. I was told maybe he applied the membership discount. My response was you both would apply that discount so I still don't understand the price difference. I ended up paying $473 after membership discounts to replace a battery that if I had replaced at my home would have been half the price. I will not be back.

I brought my car in for engine noise. They said the oil was basically gone — 90 days after an oil change — and did nothing to investigate why. I approved $712 for an oil change, coolant flush, and rear coil springs, and was told all parts were in stock. After calling for an update over 24 hours later, I was told the coil insulators couldn’t be reused and would add $104. These are standard parts that should have been included in the original quote, yet the service manager’s attitude was basically “too bad, so sad” that it wasn’t. Days went by with no updates. When I called again, I learned my car had been ready for two days — no call, no message, nothing. When I finally picked it up, the approved coolant flush had never been done, yet my invoice falsely stated I “declined” it. The only issue discussed with me about the coolant was that the level was low. The radiator was supposedly “seeping,” but no one ever mentioned it — the shop skipped work without consent and buried it on the paperwork. This shop cannot communicate, cannot quote accurately, and clearly does not respect customers. AVOID AAA Abingdon unless you like being misled and nickel-and-dimed for incompetence.
