I initially went there for a radiator replacement which includes recharging the A/C system. They recommended I get the radiator hoses and thermostat replaced as well. I got that work done then I noticed my A/C was not working- the A/C button was blinking (It was working fine before they did those repairs). They told me to bring it back to them to see if there was a leak using dye. I came back to have them check it and they stated I needed my Schrader valve replaced. I got that replaced. During that visit they stated I needed my serpentine belt / tensioner replaced and a whole bunch of suspension work. A couple days later my car was having trouble starting so I called them and they told me to bring it back again to have it looked at. I ended up going to another mechanic to get those things replaced. My car was still struggling to start and would stall when I turned the A/C on. I got a diagnostic test ran again and I needed an A/C compressor replacement. All of these mechanical issues happened within days to a few weeks of this shop (Alternate Rad/Auto Services) doing these costly repairs. Moral of the story, I wish I would have listened to the reviews and went somewhere else. My initial review that I wrote a few weeks back was positive because of customer service but after what I have experienced with this shop, I had to speak my mind. It just seems like they were coming up with a bunch of repairs out of nowhere and I only went there for one thing.

I had a bad experience at alternate bad work and they charge you for things they never did they don't respect their word. They deserve zero star don't go to this shop

Had my engine replaced and have been out of a truck for going on 4 months because they did not have the technical expertise to diagnosis and fix the problem . Sent it to one dodge dealer to the next not giving a tinkers dam that after spending 20k plus with them no resolution i n the end they just don't care! Oil changes and inspections they have mastered but for God sake do not trust them with a major repair. Dave

The owners are so funny and welcoming. The banter between them made me feel so relaxed. I called early in the morning and Robert told me to bring in truck. This was a fleet vehicle. He handled it well. I had to do absolutely nothing except drive the vehicle to the shop. I was in and out quickly and my truck was fixed by 1 p.m. Unfortunately, I was unable to pick it up until the next morning. He was VERY accommodating and greeted me with a jovial attitude at 5:30 the next morning. The shop has been around for over 30 years. They even pick up vehicles that need to be serviced. My truck ran perfectly when I did a test drive after the repairs. I had to drive it to SC and I had no problems during the trip. I will bring all of my fleet vehicles here in the future.

I had a great experience with the guys at Alternate Radiator and Auto Services today. I just bought a commercial vehicle for my company and needed a state inspection done asap. I called and they told me to come right over and they would have it done by the end of the day. They actually had it done much faster! They were pleasant to interact with and the service was great. I will definitely be back!
