Don't go there for front end alignment, they charged me $120.00, I told the guy I needed toe, caster and camber adjusted, they have a frt end machine, but it's broke, if i would have known that, I would have went somewhere else, first he only adjusted the toewith the steering wheel straight. He did it with a string from the back wheel to the frt wheel and measured from left to right wheel with a tape measure. I asked him when done about the caster, camber, he said it was fine, it was the end of the day, I left. My truck drove straight until I let go of the wheel, went yo the right quick. I took it back the next morning. Showed him that the right wheel was positioned about a inch behind the left. The he adjusted it, I wasn't happy at all, ask why he didn't put it on the machine, he said it was broke, after adjusting, the wheels are closer, but still pulls to the right. I told the owner I wanted a refund, I paid to have my alignment done on a machine, not a shade tree mechanic way, he drove it, with me in the truck and tried telling the brakes are causing it, I just replaced from and rear rotors, calipers, and pads, so he's driving saying it's fine , let's ho of the wheel, it starts to drift, he hits the brake and says, see it's your brakes, then after telling him about replacing them, he claims to much lash In the steering, the best it's going to get. Back I the shop, I told him this is bullshit, if I didn't get a refund, I was calling state police automotive safety division, as the owner is a MD state inspection certified, the gave my 40.00 more totaling 60.00 refund, truck still not right, going to a real shop now, they have cheap gas prices, I've been getting gas there for years, but not anymore, I'll pay the extra 5-10 cents yo go elsewhere

Pulled into shop 1 day to get estimate , after estimate left vehicle there for repair because I had already did my homework before hand i was just originally getting estimate . 48 hours later I get phone call from shop that my vehicle is ready. They are great in price and service. Trust me, i did my homework. Just use them if your in need and close for any vehicle repairs . Thanks again guys! I found my shop for any future repairs to my vehicle

Here's a scathing review for American Auto: - ABSOLUTE DISASTER! AVOID AMERICAN AUTO AT ALL COSTS!* I'm still fuming after my horrific experience at American Auto. I paid for a service, expecting professionalism and quality work. But what I got was utter incompetence and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. Not only did they botch the job, but they also damaged my car in the process. I was shocked and appalled when I discovered the issue. When I called to report the problem, the representative showed zero concern and instead told me to pay again for the repairs. The audacity! The lack of accountability and customer care is appalling. It's clear that American Auto prioritizes making a quick profit over providing decent service. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. *WARNING TO OTHERS:* Do not, I repeat, DO NOT take your car to American Auto. You'll be throwing your money away and risking damage to your vehicle. Trust me, you won't regret avoiding this dump. Also , the owner of the place is rude and disrespectful doesn’t treat customers well and the other guy he works with seems nice but doesn’t do a good job he’s all about the money

My lug nut had broken off.. they used a torch to remove...I am getting the wheel repainted. They installed rear rotors and brake pads that were in need...owner drove me to Autozone for parts. The Guys are Good!

I found them to be rude and pushy. Hours to take care of car even though i had an appointment. Will not be going back.
