I came across this place when looking for a local PPF installer for my new car. William, the owner and an automotive enthusiast, was very responsive and answered all my questions regarding what I wanted done, was patient with me when I experienced delays in acquiring my new car from the dealership given the recent snow storm, and was flexible when it came to scheduling. His crew took the time to clean my days-old new car and expertly apply XPEL PPF where I can’t even tell there’s a protective film on it. I’m very pleased with the results and I recommend Apex Auto Performance for your detailing and PPF needs.

I had a great experience here. After reading a few bad reviews given to them I can’t understand why people would say what they did. I am 54 years old. I’ve been dealing with aftermarket car shops since 1988. I know a shady shop as soon as we start talking. This is far from that. I dealt with William the owner as soon as I walked through the door. He was as polite and professional as you can be. He never tried to upsell me. He explained all my options for Tinting and even gave my wife and I a demonstration to show how the Xpel XR-Plus works and what sets it apart from the other options . There is a true difference in the films being offered. Be mindful that you get what you pay for. I chose the Top Tier film for our car. I also chose to have them hand wash and wax the car. That was the best part. We thought we were doing a decent job keeping the paint looking good until we saw the final product. I am totally satisfied and impressed with their work. Look, if you think a business can tint your entire car for $250 don’t go here. Go to Autozone and by the film and then drive to the ghetto to the Liquor store and ask the cashier which one of his “regulars” works on cars. If you want a qualified professional who has decades of experience and employees to help him do it RIGHT then go here. The Tint has a Lifetime Warranty so you can buy with confidence. I hope this helps. Update June 5, 2025. The tint is holding up as expected. No problems whatsoever.

Really awesome experience all the way around from my initial phone call through the whole process it was a outstanding customer experience. Its a real challenge today to find a company that sincerely offers customer service top tp bottom, these guys do just that. I drove all the way from Baltimore to Apex to get my new truck tinted I made that decision after I hang up the phone with William the owner I knew I had finally found a place that not only appreciated my business had the experience and also offered the top of the line product and quality work I was looking for. I went in on a Saturday and the guy behind the counter was freaking awesome (so sorry I can't remember his name) was handling the Saturday morning rush perfectly greeting everyone with a smile it was nice to see I waited my turn got all my questions answered and away he went to the back to do the job as well, this guy was a rock star I'm telling ya lol. The job was perfect the tint is freaking outstanding and I'm 100% grateful! Thanks Apex, William and the gentleman that was manning the store that morning I'll be back with my next vehicle I'm trying to convince myself to get the Ceramic Coating coating I know it'll be worth it but just can't fit it in the budget right now -
