If you encounter females at the counter of audi Frederick service center, just skip them. You’re not missing anything. She will give you advice potentially to harm your car. Over 10 years of visiting this location, men did not ignore warning signs in the dashboard but took them seriously. However, this is the first time the woman at the counter totally ignored the warning signs on the dashboard and put my car into potential danger. Prejudice doesn’t come for no reason. Audi frederick service center needs to have a person at the counter who KNOWS about AUDI CAR. Last week, on DEC 31st, I brought my car in person due to a warning sign on dashboard and showed a picture of the warning sign and description but that person (SHE)) didn’t seem know what that meant and took it as nothing serious, just saying they didn’t have any room to inspect my car so made an appointment and tried to send me home. So I asked if my car would be fine and she casually said it would be okay. Yesterday (Saturday, JAN 3rd), I attempted to start a car but it immediately flashed red warning for coolant level check that is a critical problem for engine. Now I have to have a tow truck tow my car to the dealership. This is extremely frustrating that a customer has to deal with the people in the audi service center who is supposed to know what they are doing but that is not the case. If the person at the service center counter took her job more seriously and accepted to leaving my car at the dealership until they have time to inspect, this kind of hassle should not have been occurred. Car is the most important item to maintain everyday lives. SHE needs to learn how to do her job intelligently, professionally, responsibly, and effectively to better support the customers from her guy colleagues, instead of keeping repeating the same sentences “we are fully booked, we CANNOT take your car” like a parrot.

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with Audi Frederick. My vehicle was towed there on Thursday, 11/13, and because it arrived overnight, the keys weren’t left. When I called the next morning (11/14), I was told that even if I brought the keys in, my car wouldn’t be looked at until Monday or Tuesday (11/17–11/18). I explained to my advisor, Emily, that if the check engine lights went off by the end of the day, I would pick up the vehicle to see if it was drivable since I needed it for work. She said that was fine. On 11/17, I called again and asked if they could work on it if I had it towed back. She told me she wasn’t sure because people had called out sick and that Tuesday would be the earliest. I had the vehicle towed back on Tuesday, 11/18. She said she might get to it that day, but if not, she scheduled it for Wednesday, 11/19. She also told me they were three weeks out for loaners and that she couldn’t help with anything, but suggested I rent a car next door. That alone was disappointing, but then I was told that my car was “out of warranty” because Audi’s warranty supposedly starts when the car is delivered to the dealership not when the owner actually purchases it. I have a 2022 vehicle with only 45,000 miles, and the warranty is 4 years or 50,000 miles, but they still said it didn’t apply. Two days after the scheduled appointment, my car still hadn’t even been looked at. No one ever called me first every update I got was because I reached out. When I contacted other advisors for an update, they said they couldn’t tell me anything since my advisor was “handling my case.” Eventually I was told that a part was on backorder, again only because I called. I’ve been calling once or twice a week to check on loaner availability, and today (12/2) when I called, the person who handles all loaners told me my name wasn’t even on the list despite Emily telling me there were no loaners and my name was “high” on the request list. Overall the communication has been extremely poor, the process has been disorganized, and I’ve had to chase every update myself. This has been one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve had with a dealership.

Service center is always backed up. Expect for your vehicle to be here at least 2 full weeks minimum. More often than not loaner vehicles are not available.

DO NOT PURCHASE AN AUDI. THEY are only reliable for 3 years. A 2017 Q7 will cost an additional $50000 in maintenance in a 7 year life span even with regular and consistent maintenance. At this point before denying those services I have have already spent $20000 in repairs at Audi Bethesda and Rockville.

Purchased my car from this dealership in May 2017 and have it serviced here ever since. I have always received excellent service and will continue to bring my car here.
