I am glad I found "Auto & Truck Transmission Services LLC": my Ford was in need of a transmission overhaul and I was almost ready to give up on the car when I heard the prices in Montgomery County and on up to Baltimore. I called up to six places and here I found the best price in a convenient & close location, tucked away on a back road in a quiet residential area near the South Germantown Recreation Center aka "Soccerplex." . It's not a slick place with a fancy sign but you do get personal service from the owner in a classic garage that has been in service for at least 60 years and now in new hands.. A&TTransmission Services provided me with personal service: showing me the parts that came out : texting me photos of the work in progress & updates on estimated time it would be done and access to the car while it was in the garage. Some will not want that if they are not mechanical but to me, I like to be involved and it shows the company trusts the customer to be a part of overhaul by going "behind the curtain." . The price was far less than others and even provided a warranty for the work as well as a ride to and from home which is nearby. I will be recommending area friends to try "A&T Transmission" the next time their car loses a few gears like mine did. Don't despair: there is relatively cheap but quality option in Montgomery County!
