I recently brought my 23 RAM 1500 (HEMI) in for service due to hearing a ticking noise from the engine compartment. Once at service, I was greeted by Kyle who immediately took care of me and checked on the same noise. We both initially thought it was a exhaust manifold issue, but he assured they would get on the problem and keep me posted. He provided me with a loaner vehicle and made me aware of what I was covered with under my warranty putting me at ease. My ticking noise ended up being a failed lifter that ultimately required a whole new engine replacement that I was notified about later that same day. Kyle explained the entire process of getting a new motor and an expected date of completion. Almost to the day, my truck was ready for pickup. My truck was returned clean, no damage and so far, all seems well with the new motor. My new warranty was explained to me by Kyle and I was once again put at ease with such a major repair being done. I would like to commend the staff in service for their professionalism and attention to detail. I would highly recommend others to bring their vehicles to Bayside if service is ever needed.

Was browsing online for a car and called in, thankfully I found the right sales person. The sales process was absolutely superb, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Giovanni Berrios! He truly redefined what it means to go “above and beyond.” From our very first conversation to the moment the car was delivered right to my doorstep—over an hour away from the dealership—Giovanni made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. His professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to customer satisfaction were impeccable every step of the way. If you’re looking for best-in-class customer service, do yourself a favor and go see Giovanni Berrios—you won’t regret it!

On July 24 I took my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee here for a yellow check engine light that had come on in the past 48 hrs. I knew of a slow coolant leak (topped it off once roughly 2 months prior) and figured it had something to do with that. I asked for an oil change and to check the AC, as it didn't always blow cold air. Front Desk took a look at the vehicle while in the driveway. I was told by her that there would be 2 diagnostic fees, one for the AC and one for the check engine light. I was then told the AC fix would be 800.00 for a freon recharge, (it's unclear to me how they came to that conclusion) and that they needed to do more testing on the vehicle once in the bay to determine the check engine light. I declined the freon charge and asked them to continue with the diagnostics of the check engine light. 10 minutes after being in the bay, a very young technician brought me back to the vehicle to show me the explosion of mixed oil and coolant that had erupted from the coolant reservoir. He then told me, based solely on the quality and color of the fluid and a dry oil dipstick, that I would need a new engine. He stated he found a crack in the oil cooler which had allowed the oil to mix with coolant, and that most likely my engine had been running dry (even though I never got a red check engine light, etc). He stated this had irreparably damaged the engine and I needed a new one. He diagnosed the need for a new engine having not done a pressure test, or looking at the oil filter etc. for other engine concerns. I then asked him to remove and show me the oil filter to see if there were any metal shavings in it, which was still soaked in oil and had no metal shavings. I then asked if perhaps the mixing came solely from the broken oil cooler, which he shrugged. I asked if he could please flush the coolant and oil systems, replace the oil cooler and do an oil change, and then pressure test the system to find any other concerns that may lead to this issue. He said he could, but that it would not be covered under warranty. I said that was fine, but I'd rather fix the known problem (a $2,000.00 oil cooler fix) and then test the system before jumping to the conclusion that I needed a new engine (was quoted $15,000.00 by them). 20 minutes later, a different mechanic came out and told me "We won't do what you're asking. We will only sell you a new engine (15,000.00) or you can have it towed somewhere else." I asked if they would do a pressure test to see if the engine was indeed damaged, and they refused. Bayside refused to do the work that my vehicle needed, refused to do appropriate tests on the vehicle to properly diagnose, and had hobled the vehicle to the point that it was undrivable, leading me to have it towed to do the work I knew it needed, or pay 15,000.00 for an unnecessary engine replacement. I was forced to have the vehicle towed, and Bayside still charged me 442.40, 200.00 of which was "FOUND CODE FOR OIL PUMP" code with the same problem listed under two separate 200.00 diagnostic charges. I have yet to understand what is actually wrong with my AC because to my knowledge no actual diagnostics were done and there are none listed on my receipt. I had the vehicle towed that day to Crownsville automotive who correctly diagnosed the issue as a broken oil cooler, WHICH IS A KNOWN ISSUE on the Jeep 3.6 liter V6 engine. Something I would think a Jeep Dealer would be very familiar with. Crownsville Auto took incredible care of my vehicle. They replaced the cooler, flushed both systems twice, pressure tested the system and even had me come back a few days later to flush the systems one more time and ensure everything was in working order. Cost 2,100.00 including the last flush. I trusted Bayside to do the work I needed on my vehicle. Instead they wrongly diagnosed it as needing a new engine, and refused to do any work that might actually (and eventually) solve the problem. They wasted my time, and cost me an extra $552.40 in superfluous "diagnostic fees" and towing costs. Don't go here.

NO NO NO!!! Sold me a car for my newly driving daughter with a differential leak, oil filter housing leak amongst other things and said that passed inspection. It spent 2 weeks at their shop and they were nice enough to fix the differential leak. Just 2 months later with ONLY about 1k miles put on it, it now has a full blown oil leak and oil everywhere. Can't even get it in for service for over a week. Of course I'm bound by the Bayside Promise program for repairs, SCREW IT, I dont even care about that money I will lose. I want my daughter's vehicle to be dependable so I will have a dependable mechanic at a dependable automotive shop handle anything further. I am so disappointed because it's become nothing but a headache since we've gotten the Jeep.
