BL seems like a nice guy, but i dont know that he really knows what he is doing or cares to make things right after he has your money. I took my tractor engine apart , took the head to them. He supposedly worked on the head, i paid him too. I realized that rebuilding the lower half was too much for me to handle because it needed sleeves taken out and new ones put in(something a machine shop has to do). I took the whole engine to him for rebuild. It took him over twice as long to rebuild the motor as he told me. I got the motor back and put the tractor back together. As soon as I started it it doesnt run right. I call BL and he said bring it over he would look at it. It was 2-3 months no real answers other than I have to get a friend to help me look at it that knows more about tractors. He tells me they worked on it finally , specifically the wiring for 3 hours. He said he did a compresion check and it was 350psi. This is when the lieing really started. The tractor has very simple wiring. I could have made a whole new harness myself in 3 hours. The tractor has a aftermarket bosch temp gauge with a hot, ground, and sending unit wire.(5 mins max to hook up) the oil gauge is oil feed with one oil tube(5 mins). He wasted so much of my time I came and got it in the snow. I asked for help getting it on the trailer, and he sends a kid in a forklift that just spun tires in the snow. I ask if they could pull it on the tralier with a truck then the guy disappeared. It took me over a hour to get it on the trailer with chain binders by myself. I get it home my new mechanic talks to him on the phone. He tells him I overheated it and it had 450 psi when he did a compresion check. Now I supposedly overheated it, last time I talked to him he had no idea what was wrong and had to get his friend to look at it. He stated 2 different pressures,is it 350 or 450psi? How did I overheat it when it never ran long enough to over heat. The new mechanic pull the head. 3 of the head bolts were finger tight, 2 so tight that he though he was going to break them getting them off, and the head gasket was blown in 3 spots. I take it to a new machine shop. The new machine shop said no way is it making compresion like etheir PSI that was told to me. The valves you can blow air through, and the seats are damaged because he didn't put them on right. I get it back together. It still is putting compresion in the coolant and not running. A year and a half dealing with this and I still dont have a tractor. Along with paying for head work at 2 different shops, 2 rebuild kits, plus labor ,plus renting eqipment for my bussness while I dont have tractor. At one point he even offer that if I brought it back he would look at it ,but it would be when he had free time because he had a 6.0 ford pickup to pull the cab off of. IDC about the pick up , I already paid him to build a engine that has never ran. I really felt like he took my money, doesnt know what he is doing, and just wasted my time untill I got mad enought to not want to deal with him any more.

I dropped off my car to put a new headlight at 1pm and picked it up at 3. They charged me for 2.7hrs of labor. Pretty sure I got scammed. Don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you BL for quick and professional service. My Jeep handles perfectly on the trip to Vermont, and I felt confident it would because of your work.
