These guys saved us on a recent trip. Our car broke on 340 and we limped to the nearest repair shop. This was afternoon on July 3rd. The holiday weekend coming, shop was busy. Yet, Wayne and the crew shifted some other jobs around, found the parts, and got us on the road. I'm not sure they can do this all the time, but they went above and beyond. They know what they did, and I'm eternally grateful.

I highly recommendation this auto shop. We have been taking our cars to them for years. Very professional, take time to explain everything in detail and will answer all your questions and concerns. I love how they know their customers by name and their cars unlike the bigger car shops. I called this morning about a nail in my son’s tire and Sav had me bring it right over and took care of it. They are on time with appointments and keep you informed on what’s happening with your car. Just awesome!! Thanks!

The first time I took my vehicle to Blue Ridge Automotive, I was pleased with their service. I decided to take my truck there a few weeks ago for check engine light, coolant leak, and steering gear box leak. When they called to discuss the code, it was different then the code I normally get when I check it. Then when I picked up the vehicle, they completed work I did not agree to have completed. What upset me more was I paid and drove my truck, the check engine light came right back on and a few days later I noticed the coolant was still leaking. I called and explained what was happening and was told to stop by. I took the truck back after work and the man I spoke to was not there. I explained to the man at the front desk and he said they would look at it. They could not see the leak and asked me to show them. They still stated they could not find the leak and topped the coolant back off. I drove it the next day to work and it was still leaking. Took it back after work and the man I originally spoke to was there asked if I brought it back yesterday. I stated I did. He then asked if they fixed it and I shared they couldn't find the leak. I shared that they said to keep and eye on it and if it continues to leak bring it back. He then said his manager is going to have to look at it when he gets back but did not share when he would be back. He stated that if he can't find the leak, I would have to leave the truck again. I told him I can see where the leak is coming from. He walked away and I stayed there waiting. He did not return. After a little while, I left.

Called blue ridge to ask about getting a diagnosis for a squeaky sound when accelerating. Thought maybe the belt, wasn’t sure. they said they charge $155/hr. Dropped it off Sunday night heard from them Monday around 2 . Was told the car was driven multiple times with 2 technicians in the car so they could hear it. Drove around the parking lot with the door open to really hear the noise from all angles. The total mileage was 10miles. Was told a part of the muffler is what they think it is. Still not positive. Mind you my 2 year old can hear the noise from her car seat , the cost was $155 for 10miles and their professional opinion.

These guys are awesome!! Very knowledgable and affordable. My car was making a strange sound when accelerating and it turns out it was the clamp on the turbo had fallen off. Rather than just replace the turbo, which is what volkswagen recommended, they did research and actually found a clamp that made my turbo work good as new. From a 5000$ job to a 500$ job!! If there is a problem, they will solve it!
