In 2/2025, BMW of Towson had the most adorable 2024 i4 M50 with a metallic blue exterior and a dark red interior available for me to lease, so I did! As a former Tesla owner, I find the i4 M50 handles much more like a "real car" and less like a computer on wheels. The range is great and the regenerative braking means I rarely have to take my foot off the Go Pedal :) I do wish it had more cargo space. Leasing the car was a breeze and I got a good deal on my Tesla trade-in, too! All-electric vehicles are very low maintenance, so my first return visit to BMW of Towson was this week. I got pulled over at the airport because I didn't have a front plate installed (so much for it being a secondary offense only) and when I looked at trying to install the plate myself... I decided to let the dealership manage that! I got a same day appointment and was in and out of there in a little over an hour. Was reasonably charged for the installation of the plate and they took care of the yearly check up as well. Their waiting room is quite nice and my service rep, Terrence, was knowledgeable and courteous. Upon discovering I wanted to lunch nearby, he not only gave me a spot-on recommendation, but also told me where was best to park. A five-star experience -- definitely worth my taking the extra time to drive to Towson.

I had a very disappointing experience with BMW of Towson. I was in the process of purchasing a BMW X3 and was told the vehicle was on hold for me while I worked with my bank (DCU) to issue the financing check. I even have text messages confirming the vehicle was being held. Because of dealership requests, I had to reissue the check multiple times to correct the dealership name, VIN number, and my full name. Each time I coordinated with my bank and had the checks sent via overnight shipping. After I previously raised concerns, management contacted me and offered a $500 discount to move forward with the purchase. I agreed and worked again with my bank to issue a final corrected check. The dealership confirmed everything looked correct. However, despite all of this effort and confirmation, I was later informed that the vehicle was no longer available. I traveled multiple times from McLean, spent money on transportation, and invested significant time trying to complete this purchase in good faith. I have purchased vehicles before and have never experienced a dealership handling a transaction this way. Very frustrating and disappointing experience .

$3,200 worth of 'cosmetic' repairs for broken trim and paint-matching on parts and the car comes back to me dirty and with scratches on the area that was 'repaired' ... not acceptable; the service advisor tried to make good on it by compounding out the marks, but it didn't work; says I have to come back to have it buffed at a later date. $3,200 of work and I have to come back to get it detailed/buffed again and lose the car (and work!) for another day? Doesn't add up to me. Not satisfied with my expense at BMW of Towson. What happened to people checking on work being done for QC?

We've been going here for regular service on our i3 (aka the "space buggy") which has always been highly professional and competent. But BMW/Towson really came through when we blew out a tire one rainy night. Their roadside assistance came to our aid and towed the car to the service center despite technically being after hours. Everything was fixed by 4 PM the next day. Truly exceptional service.

I had a great experience at BMW of Towson for warranty work. Everything was handled smoothly while I waited, which made the whole visit very convenient. The waiting area is excellent—plenty of outlets to work from, and complimentary coffee, tea, and water. The service itself was completed quickly, and I really appreciated the video walk-around of my vehicle. It was a nice touch and added transparency to the process. Overall, this is a solid place for BMW warranty and maintenance work. Highly recommend.
