There are two types of guys that I generally don't want to interact with the first are mechanics and the second or contractors. That is because I haven't had a great experience with either of them. After having a very terrible experience at JJ's Auto service which is right next door and please see my review for that. I had an excellent experience at Boswell's which is where I got everything fixed for a fraction of the price. Bill and Tom, the latter of whom is the owner we're super friendly and nice. Tom's wife answers the phone and is polite and courteous. I wanted the job done quickly and efficiently so that I could get my car back on the road otherwise I wouldn't be able to move forward with the rest of my work in business meetings they were very understanding of that and made sure that they did everything to accomplish it and exceeded my expectations I have absolutely nothing horrible to say about them because they're such wonderful folks and apparently they've been in business for a very long time and they know what they do and they're good at it. If you ever find yourself stuck in the area and need car repairs I would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone

I’ve been taking my vehicles here for a few years now and started to do so after reading a few reviews just like this one. After reading positive review after positive review, I got the warm and fuzzy about this place so I decided to give them a try. Years later, it’s been a great decision for the excellent service I’ve received. Tom, his wife and staff have been great; the work is always top notch, their prices are fair and most importantly they are honest and won’t pressure you into paying for work that isn’t necessary. So far Boswell has lived up to the initial reviews that got me to start going here in the first place and it’s much appreciated. If you’re looking for a great and honest auto service shop, look no further, this is the spot!

Boswell’s Auto Service is hands down the best shop I’ve ever taken my vehicle to. From start to finish, the experience was professional, honest, and stress-free. The team here truly knows their craft and goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. They took the time to walk me through what my truck needed, explained everything in plain language, and never once tried to push unnecessary repairs. The work was done quickly, at a fair price, and with outstanding quality. My vehicle runs better than it has in years, and I have total peace of mind knowing it was repaired by people who care. The customer service alone sets Boswell’s apart — friendly, straightforward, and trustworthy. It’s rare to find a shop where you feel like a valued customer, but that’s exactly the vibe here. I honestly wish I could give zero stars. I would not recommend this shop based on my recent experience. I brought my car in for a coolant issue, and they replaced the reservoir tank. However, as soon as I drove away, the coolant warning light came back on — showing the original issue was never diagnosed properly. When I returned to discuss it, the owner was extremely rude, dismissive, and claimed the leak “didn’t present itself,” even though the warning light came back immediately. Instead of taking accountability or offering a proper solution, he told an employee to refund me and get me out of the shop (which they never did issue a refund) It was an overall hostile and unprofessional experience. I value good customer service and honesty, and unfortunately, I did not receive that here UPDATED REVIEW: I never accused this shop of causing the leak, my issue has always been that the leak wasn’t properly diagnosed the first time. When a customer brings in a car for a coolant warning light, it’s the mechanic’s responsibility to find the root cause, not just replace the easiest part and send them on their way. My coolant light came back on immediately after picking up my car, which clearly indicates the issue was already there. To claim the “leak didn’t present itself” makes no sense when the warning light was the original reason I came in and please keep in mind I brought my car back 3 days later (they’re closed on the weekends) So it’s highly likely that the leak was there, it was just missed. We also asked for a full diagnostic, including brakes and headlights, and were told there were no other issues. That’s simply not true as my high beam indicator has been on for weeks, which shows they either overlooked or rushed through the inspection. The owner’s response here only reinforces my experience of unprofessionalism and defensiveness. Instead of addressing a customer concern respectfully, they chose to be rude, dismissive, and even “ban” me from the shop lol, which honestly isn’t a loss, because no customer should be treated that way for expecting competent service. This isn’t about “energy” or “moods” it’s about accountability and quality work. I paid for a service that didn’t resolve the problem, was met with disrespect, and left feeling unheard. Based on my experience, I stand by my review: this shop lacks professionalism, consistency, and customer care
