While vacationing we had trouble with our turn signal and brake light not working. We were fortunate to stop here and Joel showed us how to change the bulb. Turned out it was just loose so we didn’t need the bulbs after all. Excellent customer service!!!

Good folks and selection. Just moved into the area. I was impressed as only there 2 times. Both were for odd items. Had items in stock and in my hands along with some good advice as they learned I just moved here. That’s an A+ in my book!

I am a senior on a fixed income and decided to change the battery in my car myself. I removed the old battery and drove it to Carquest. I have used Goodyear tire and service which is attached to Carquest and have been very happy with their service. I had the battery , car year and make, and the vin number. They looked up my battery and I was out the door with a new battery. I tried installing the battery only to find that it didn't work. I had AAA come out and look. They were not able to install the battery since I didn't buy it from them. They informed me that I was given the wrong battery for my car, and that the electric system in the car had been damaged. I took the battery back to Carquest and spoke to Joel. He apologized for the company selling me the wrong battery. The posts were switched on the battery. He said to call back if there were any problems. I installed the new battery and nothing turned on on my car. I called Joel back he informed me that the owner said I was responsible for the damage to my car because I installed the wrong battery. My car is very old and there is no red cover on my battery terminals indicating that it was a positive terminal. The battery only fit one way, and with the post being switched it was the wrong way for my car. Joel did say that possibly it would require a new fuse and that would solve my problem. I drove back, purchased a new fuse, replaced the fuse and now the car works. I was happy for the instructions from Joel, but very upset that if there was any further damage Carquest would not be responsible. I feel that Carquest should have taken full responsibility for the damage to my car. Shame on them!

I came into oc on vacation and my alternator broke. Tried call advance auto parts, but I was on hold for 30 minutes. When I got through, they said there system was down. So I called carquest and talked to Jason. He ordered my part for the next morning . when I got there the pully was wrong. He let me use there tools to change it in the store. Then he gave me and my wife a ride back to the hotel so I could get up and running. Jason is a first class person who went above and beyond what he had to do. I would highly recommend this store.

My family and I got into Ocean Pines after midnight Sunday night. We started our day to go to the beach,well my suburban had other plans before we got on 90 it started to have white smoke come out exhaust and no power. I pulled into Walgreens checked it out and knew the ln it needed a garage. I seen signs for Goodyear tires called and them off they could put it on scanner as check engine light was on. We got it safely across the street to them o was greeted by Zachary he immediately put it on scanner and we got right on it to see diagnosis. Meanwhile I have 4 kids n boyfriend I’m worried about getting back to our rental house or with our friends. ( it was our first blended family vaca not off to good start ) but thanks to Zachary and the rest of the staff they found problem and fixed the issue in 2 hours we were off and made it to the beach. I can not thank them enough for saving us money on enterprise and tow truck and wasting our vacation money. I am truley blessed and grateful for them all at Auto parts and marine I would recommend them every day all day no matter what!!!!!!!
