Quality job done replacing my water pump and thermometer. I have not driven my car too much since those parts were replaced, but Mark, who was my service person, told me if I had any issues just bring it on back. Today I did drive quite a bit and I had no issues. It’s running very well. Carriage House has a great reputation and uses quality parts. Good experience!

I sent my son in for a 2-wheel alignment and the final bill came to $300. They said it required removing the right front wheel and heating a tie rod jam nut to loosen it before adjusting and reassembling. What really bothers me is that this is a very common part of doing alignments, yet we were charged an extremely inflated price. They did ask my son before doing the work, but he had no idea what a normal alignment should cost or what’s typically involved and it feels like that was taken advantage of. When I called to question the bill, I was told this is how they charge, and that if I wanted to discuss an adjustment it would come out of the employee’s pay. That is an unacceptable and unprofessional way to handle a customer concern. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for your response. To clarify, this is my vehicle. My son only dropped it off for convenience, but it was clear during our call that you preferred to deal with him rather than me. When he was contacted, he did approve the additional work, but only with the understanding that it would be “nothing crazy.” In our view, an additional $140 on top of a $160 alignment (bringing the total to $300) was excessive for what is widely considered a common alignment issue. Also, during my phone call, the impression was clearly conveyed that any adjustment or reduction would negatively impact the employee who performed the work. At the time, I specifically explained that I did not want to request an adjustment because I didn’t feel it was fair for anything to come back on the employee. You seemed satisfied with that response and comfortable ending the conversation there. If I had misunderstood what you were trying to convey, there was an opportunity to clarify that during the call. I understand that seized hardware happens and I do not expect anyone to work for free. My review was not to argue that point it was to share our experience with the final pricing and how the concern was handled when I called. At this point, I’m not looking to go back and forth further. I’ve shared my experience and others can judge for themselves.

I recently had my state safety inspection done at Carriage House. They were able to fit me in, got everything done quickly, and charged a reasonable price. Excellent work Carriage House!

I would never trust my vehicle to anyone but Carriage House. Their work is flawless and honest. I safe when I’m a the road after they service my Jeep, never feeling as though they have taken advantage of me because I’m an old lady. If it’s not broke, they don’t fix it, and that’s the mark of a business run by gentleman, try to find that in the world today! I absolutely love Carriage House Automotive.
