i found Charlies while searching for a gas station with a kerosene pump, which seems to be rare in Howard county. Its about 12 miles from home but an easy 2-turn drive. I arrived with my empty kerosene containers expecting to pay cash first and pump it myself. However the nicest guy qho works there, George, came to assist me and he grabbed the kero containers and started pumping the kero for me. I paid AFTER getting the kero AND i didnt have to pay with cash. This is totally different from getting kero at the former Freestate gas station in Clarksville. So i will definitely utilize Charlie's for my kero needs and possibly other services. thanks George!!

They saved me from what I thought was going to be a horrible day! As I was heading towards Baltimore at 6:45am to work, my low tire pressure light came on. I checked the gauge and watched it drop drastically down to 1 as I left Eldersburg and got over the bridges. I made it to Charlie’s where he came right out and told me where the air was. Before I got out of my car he was already filling my tire and quickly said I had a hole. Asked me to move car over to the other side where again he quickly jacked the car up and got the tire off asking if I had a spare tire. He took the tire into the garage and was back out in a minute saying he had patched it and it would be good for the life of the tire. Before I knew it he had the tire back on and told me I was good to go! All of this in under 10 minutes and only $20! I tired to give him $40 and he refused. I don’t ever have this kind of luck. What I thought would be a frustrating all day affair was not. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the man that helped me!! Thank you!

I was running out of gas on my way to work this morning and stopped by for the first time. I was greeted by a gentleman who pumped my gas for me, and when I paid more than what my gas tank could hold he gave me the difference in cash, and wouldn’t accept a tip. Such kindness and a surprise to be so well taken care of on this random Tuesday morning— I will be returning regularly ❤️

My daughters were on their way to college in VA from NY and the coolant light came on. Called ahead to Charlie’s and they fixed it right away as I didn’t want them opening a hot engine radiator cap. Highly recommend!!
