There are moments in life when you realize someone didn’t just “help” you; they stood in the gap for you. Andrew Karolick, of Criswell Automotive Body Shop, did that for me. What began as a minor rear-end accident, a simple bumper scuff, quickly escalated into something far more complicated than I ever expected. Estimates ballooned. Technical reports multiplied. Conversations about totaling my vehicle began. Timelines tightened. Storage fees accumulated. I had days, not weeks, to make critical decisions about documents, valuations, and the future of my car. As someone who does not work in the automotive or insurance world, it would have been easy to feel overwhelmed or simply accept what was presented to me. Instead, I had Andrew. Andrew understands the system: the estimators, adjusters, certification requirements, mechanical components, and negotiation process. But what mattered most wasn’t just his knowledge. It was how he used it. He slowed everything down in a situation that went from 0 to 60 faster than I could process. He explained my options clearly, helped me weigh the risks, and walked beside me through every decision. Most importantly, he made sure I wasn’t navigating it alone. Three months and over 3,000 miles later, my car is repaired properly and was not totaled. But what I truly gained was peace of mind. Andrew didn’t just help save my car. He restored my confidence in the process and empowered me to make informed decisions when I felt vulnerable and outmatched. If you ever find yourself facing an accident, an insurance negotiation, an estimate you don’t fully understand, or anything related to your vehicle, Andrew should be your first call. He knows the system, and he genuinely cares about the people inside of it. Andrew, you may say you were just doing your job. However, you had no skin in this incident and nothing to gain or lose. That is why I say there are professionals who do their job, and there are leaders who step in, stand beside you, and guide you through the storm. Andrew Karolick is the latter. I drove from Hanover ,Pa.to have my service and warranty work done here . My experience was outstanding the service was outstanding, and the work again outstanding. These guys get A+ for getting the job done . I have to mention that my body shop estimator, Matt Tait Was one of the most Thorough at his job, along with being very helpful, informative, respectful, and most professional fellow that I have ever worked with. Seeing me through the process from start to finish. I contacted the shop manager Andrew directly he immediately picked up and Greeted me then proceeded to start off the conversation, making sure that I was happy with the work and service ! This was before I even had the chance to tell him that I was extremely happy and was the reason for my call. I felt that I needed to praise him for how his department ran . Starting with the first encounter I had starting over the phone with Matt Tait then once I arrived.Matt continued seeing everything I needed through from start to finish personally and continued with the rest of the team being very efficient ! They got the job done quickly and most importantly correctly and flawless. This department is a well oiled machine highly trained ,skilled, and definitely recommended ! I give you my word as a business owner myself . That even having to drive across state lines to get there. I had no problem doing so and will be doing it again for future service to my vehicles because of the quality and when I’m ready to buy again I’ll start at Criswell with the service department’s recommendation!

I had hit a deer and caused some damage to my truck. I was greeted by Matthew Tate who almost took care of everything. He helped me navigate my insurance, my car rental and also kept me informed about possible costs. He handled the situation like it was his own car.
