I was approached by Jacob in a parking lot and he was saying he could fix the scratched paint on the lip of my bumper and he could mix the exact color paint and do the job for $600. I said I didn’t have that right now and I was late for a wedding photo shoot and he said “at least let me fix your foggy headlight for $120 it’ll take just a minute” and I made the mistake of letting him touch my car. The headlight has small cracks on the inside of the housing so it looks foggy and it’s from 2014 so it was a bit yellow. As a business owner I love to network and see what other people have to offer. Small red flag, he was really pushy with his sales pitch but he’s young so I chalked it up to excitement in his work. He took sandpaper (not sure what grit) and started sanding the headlight and to his credit it’s not really yellow anymore. But he just went over it with clear coat and didn’t tape around the headlight so now my paint is foggy too. He asked if he took card and he said he only took cashapp venmo and Zelle (as a business owner, sometimes I use these tools as well because not everyone has a checkbook) so I started looking over the work he did and I was not happy at all. He got overspray all over my hood, bumper, and grille and you could clearly see the scrapes from the sandpaper. He assured me it would clear up in a few hours and look much better. I said I don’t want to pay for an unfinished product and I was willing to at least pay for his material cost. After about half an hour of going back and forth his dad and I agreed on $30 upfront and the rest after the clear coat dried. I went to pay him on cashapp and it gave me a notification saying “customers have reported being scammed by this account” so I showed Jacob the message and his dad and Jacob says “it says pay at the bottom.” His dad assured me they were legit and had a license and insurance but it felt wrong. This is not a good way to do business. The parking lot didn’t have good reception so the payment wouldn’t go through and I went back to the venue for the wedding. By the time the wedding was over it was too dark to see the mess Jacob made of my car so I went out this morning to check on it and it didn’t clear up at all like he said it would. The picture at the bottom is the before picture and the others are after I made the mistake of letting Jacob touch my car. All in all: terrible service, worse customer service, and yes it’s a scam. My headlight is in worse condition than it was before. BMW headlights are $700 each and who knows how much for paint. Do not give this guy your hard earned money. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone even if he was the last guy on earth “qualified” to work on my vehicle.

I got got. Please do not let this guy touch your vehicle. He totally destroyed my passenger door which only had a minor dent in it. Did such a terrible job that I went to O'Donnell body shop on Rt. 40 to get an estimate which cost $3420 to repair. I feel like such a fool for not doing any research before I let this bum destroy my door. Left him a message, which of course he did not return my call. I would like to give one thousand negative stars if I could. Once again do not use this guy Bob of dent wizard express to touch your vehicle. See the before and after pictures that's attached. Door was shiny before the damage he caused now it looks like it's been in a fire.

I would not recommend Dent Wizard Express. I had the same experience as many of the 1-ratings below. 1) Father-son duo found me in a parking lot, offered me a price to fix the large dent, and did the work behind a grocery store. 2) They didn’t let me watch. Said I had to stay in the car and keep my foot on the brake. 3) The son asked for a “tip” for the father. 4) He said several times it was 80% or 85% as good as new. 5) After finishing, he slathered on a coat of white soap or wax so I absolutely could not see what work had been done. Very tricky and very unethical. He should have shown me the work before hiding it. 6) He then wanted cash. I don’t carry $500 in cash and neither of them knew how to use any type of electronic funds transfer. The son had to call his son to explain to me how to pay them. 7) During and after the work, there was a lot of discussion about being Christians and a Christian family with Christian values. 8) After I got home and got the coating washed off so I could see what they had done, it was terrible. It looked WAY better before they worked on it. 9) After I saw the work, I really felt violated. I’ve waited a couple of weeks to write this review so I’m writing it more objectively than I would have right after this fiasco. 10) I suspect the 5-star reviews were on smaller or more simple projects. 11) If they really had Christian values and knew their business well, they would have looked at my dent and declined to work on it because they couldn’t do a good job, they wouldn’t have made me sit in the car so I couldn’t watch, they would have shown me the work before hiding it. They may claim Christian values but their work is both poorly done and done unethically.

Dent Wizard Express did a great job with my door. I was side swiped while my car was parked. But with their services, they were able to take care of me at a reasonable price ! Highly recommended !!

Jacob and his father did an excellent, professional job repairing and painting over multiple scratches on my car. I’m so happy, it looks new again. They came to me, so it was very convenient as well
