Had some front end damage on my car that I was going through insurance to repair and tried this place. They kept me updated the whole time which was nice but, they told me my car was done so I came to pick it up and when I got there the car was filthy because he hadn't gotten a chance to wash it. No big deal. Then from about 10 feet away I see that there were gaps that were completely uneven and I said something to him about it, to which he said that its probably due to the aftermarket parts. This is a 2024 with 30k miles on it. Im not ok with aftermarket parts. Then he lied to me and said Allstate made him get the cheaper of the parts. Then he told me that he couldn't get the windshield repaired because I need to call allstate and have safe glass come do it. Which would have been good to know the whole time he had it so I could have them do it there. When I get in the car, the rear view mirror, that was damaged in the accident, was never repaired because he said there was nothing wrong with it. On my way home it fell off the mount. When I was talking to a new body shop to fix it correctly, we found much more damage. I just got my car back from the new place and its like when I first bought it. They did a full detail and fixed everything with OEM parts like it should've been done from the beginning. I preform wreck jobs on motorcycles and was appalled at the lack of attention and laziness of the job they did. Its not hard work

I wish I would have taken our car to D&J instead of going through insurance and the other company. They are honest, communicative and truly have the customer’s best interests in mind! The insurance company made us take our car to another body shop in the area. Two days after we dropped it off, they more than doubled their initial estimate. I left D&J a voicemail at 4:30 on a Friday night to get a second opinion. He called me back within 15 minutes and explained all of my options better than the other shop and the car insurance company combined. Then, on Monday, once I had seen the car and taken pictures, he gave me a $100 solution to what the other company wanted $3300 for (and should have seen in the first estimate) and said another piece they claimed needed to be fixed was structurally sound. He offered to work with me to get secondhand parts to fit within my budget if I chose to salvage the car or drop the insurance claim- and I never paid him a dime for his services!

I recently went to them for a quick body touch up after an accident and they did an amazing job. Went in took some pictures got my estimate following week dropped off my car. While I was waiting they texted me updates on how the car was doing and sent progress pictures and 4 days later I got a text and call letting me know it was ready for pick up. All and all amazing job and above & beyond customer service!

I had body work done on my vehicle and they did a great job. My car looks like new and acts like new too. The people were great to interact with and were true to the time frame. I will always use the business for my mechanical and autobody needs. They are all great.

Place is down home and eager to please. Great quality and fast work. Small story my insurance company tells me I need to go to a big corporation shop in Frederick. It sounds like an order and I tell them I want to go here. I get pushback and I stand my ground. If we all get pushed to corporation places choices will diminish and service will decline these corporations are getting unfair advantage over locally owned shops. Stand up for your neighborhood and no your rights.
