Service department the lady I spoke to very rude. You work with customers be polite and don’t just hang up. I will be updating my review in hopes my appointment visit is better. Not sure what’s wrong with the Fitzgerald Subaru but I left Rockville in hopes to find better service. Update: Service department experience 5/5. Only reason I gave 4 was because of the lady who answers the phone, otherwise I was very pleased with the service here at Gaithersburg. A friend of mine recommended Mike and he was phenomenal. Kept me in the loop and set realistic expectations for me as far as how long the service is and having to call third party warranties. He wasn’t annoyed or rude about having to do the extra work and I appreciate that. I even went back to see if the warranty covered another service that needed to be done. He is a man of his word and stated he wouldn’t be able to get it don’t today but I will follow up tomorrow. He sure did!!! I’m glad I was referred here. Thank you Mike and the service team!

I have been very fortunate to receive exceptional service at this Subaru dealership each time I visited for routine service of our 2018 Subaru Outback. Yesterday, I had the final service before I offer the car for sale and was so amazed by the generosity, caring and professionalism of the staff who interfaced with me. Ms. Luisa Paredo was the consummate professional, who went above and beyond in assisting me, and her generosity and that of the team at Fitzgerald Subaru, Gaithersburg was both unexpected and much appreciated. The mission of this dealership to make the customer feel valued, cared for and respected was fully realized during this interaction. Hearty thanks to Luisa, Sou, the service technicians and the entire team.

I entrusted Fitzgerald Subaru with my car, and they handed it over to a complete stranger. When I confronted them, they blamed the other customer and then stopped responding entirely. No one could have taken my vehicle without the dealership giving them my keys. Their carelessness and total lack of accountability is shocking. I will never trust them with my car—or my money—again. This goes far beyond poor service—it’s a major breach of safety and trust. A dealership that can’t ensure your car isn’t given to the wrong person is legally and financially responsible for any resulting loss or damage.

In the last half century, I have spent quite a bit of time in different roles at many dealerships, and this one, Fitzgerald Subaru Service and Parts, is extraordinary. My family member owns a Forester, and I wanted to buy her a little keychain with the Subaru logo on it. I walked into the service section and then, I can't believe it, the café, and a café it is , because they have at least seven different types of coffee cocoa soda and water to make the guest feel comfortable while they're waiting for service or a part. They also have complimentary snacks, and the bathrooms are clean. Different places have a different feeling. Certain churches --and other homes of God--have a feeling, certain museums have a feeling, certain libraries have a feeling, certain parks have a feeling, certain homes have a feeling, etc. I can't define it with a checklist, but you know what I mean. We feel comfortable in some places and not so comfortable in other places. I can put my finger on why this place has a unique welcoming feeling Besides the well designed rooms and cleanliness and hospitality of food and drink, the staff looks happy, and they're working, and they smile. Again, I just came in to buy a little Subaru keychain, as an expression to a dear family member who has loaned me now and then a Subaru to drive. Well, the young lady who walked me to the parts section, please note she did not extend her arm and point me in that direction but accompanied me to it, she explained to me, as she gently tapped a bell to call a part's person , who promptly came up to the desk and learned I didn't want some oil, yet he sincerely smiled: the bottom line is the young lady from Service gave me a handsome little Subaru keychain. She is a pinnacle of guest service. Another employee, Aaron, cheerfully greeted me with a sincere smile and made me feel welcome by chatting with me, sharing a bit about the owner's dedication. I am not surprised that every employee I saw looked dedicated; a person's face reveals the heart.I have never been here before, but I will come back again even though it's out of the way. It's worth the extra time and gas money to come to a place where you feel welcome, respected, and, no I am not exagerating, part of the family. See you at the next regularly scheduled maintenance for the Forestgreen Forester. Yes, maintenance does cost more at the dealership, and I also get what I pay for.

Sou Phoubandith is the best. He actively builds trust and positive relationships with his customers. I don't use any other desk agent. I recommend him 1000%! He knows my car's name is Ruby Suby. He always is understanding about my budget. And he always makes sure I'm satisfied happy customer. Please make sure he never leaves Fitzgerald Subaru.
