I came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and to check the source of a grinding noise I was hearing when braking and driving slowly. Within just a few minutes of arriving, I was greeted by Mr. Robert, who was polite, professional, and got everything set up quickly. He told me the car should be ready in about an hour and a half, which was accurate. After about an hour, I received a video update from the mechanic showing the inspection process and explaining what was done — that was a really nice touch and something I appreciated. However, I was quoted $1,700 to replace all four brake pads and rotors, which I later learned is definitely on the high side compared to typical pricing for a 2010 RAV4, even at a dealership. Although they do offer a financing option to pay the price in installments, which is nice. Regarding the tire rotation, I wrote down on each tire a number so I would know whether they actually rotated them or not- they did rotate my tires, but it looks like they only swapped front to rear on the same side rather than using the full cross-pattern typically recommended for my AWD RAV4. Not a huge issue, but something to note for accuracy. The waiting area was hot smelly and pretty basic. Unlike other Toyota dealerships I’ve been to that offer free coffee and snacks in a lounge, this one only had a small snack basket at the cashier counter — which didn’t exactly feel inviting to use. As of October 2025 the mechanics leave at 5 PM and not 6 PM. Finally, I specifically asked for a car wash, which is advertised as a complimentary service, but my car wasn’t washed when the service was completed. (See photos) Overall, the staff were friendly and professional, and the service communication was ok — but the pricing, tire rotation pattern, and missing car wash kept this from being a five-star visit.

Many blessings to Fitzgerald Auto Mall, Robert Woo the Assistant Service Manager and Josh Guerrero the Service Manager who I did not get to see that day, Kevin a Support Staff, Rob the Technician, Devin the Cashier. DJ I Support Staff and Ricardo a Support Staff who stopped to take the time to say hello. I thank all of them for giving me an excellent experience with my car. I brought my car in for 2 reasons. 1) It was time for its maintenance. 2) It was time for to have the tire rotation done. My whole experience from beginning to end was excellent! They are real pros and excellent at what they do! All of them are honest, professional, compassionate, personal and cared about the customers, which I am proud to say I was one of them.

Yesterday(12/11/2025) I had an appointment at the Gaithersburg service center.I was at the center on time at 11 am. I was told that it would take about 2 hours and I had t wait. I appreciated that I was given the uber service to get back home. I got my car back after the reguler service late in the afternoon.It was only the timely oil change and the usual maintenances, my car was Toyota Camery. I was stunned and surprised when I was presented with the bill, as it was $629.17. but when I paid the bill with my credit card. After reaching home I noticed that the amount was not 629.17,but it was 648.05. What a surprise ,Toyota took more than what I had been presentd with the bill with out informing me. I do not want to refer this sort of action to any uncivil terms. I had been a Fitzgerald customer for more than 15 years. I have very good relations with people working there. They are well-mannered and very friendly people.But now I think whether I should go there again after 6 months. I have never had that sort of bill for a regular maintenance. These sort of experience will turn away the reguler customers to other service centers. I would request the aurtherised persons to refund the over priced amount and let me know what happened. This location either needs to hire more staff or do better scheduling so that they aren't trying to squeeze many cars into a day. It typically takes 3 hours to get routine maintenance (factory recommended maintenance) done on my car. That seems a bit too long considering I came in the middle of the day on a work day, do you wouldn't expect many customers. The first time, I came on a Saturday so I assumed the long wait was due to it being a weekend. Update-downgraded to 1 star: After my patience wore thin, I finally went to ask about my car. Turns out it was ready but my service coordinator was not at his desk, so the checkout paperwork was just sitting at his desk. Who knows how much time I wasted waiting on a car that was done. Clearly they need to have better communication between staff. Update 2: I was impressed by their customer resolution efforts. They were able to get in touch with me apparently after calling several other possible rcustomers. And they did speak with my service coordinator about my experience and then reached back out to me with an update and resolution. This was refreshing considering other businesses have a canned response to any complaints and ask the customer to email the business to further discuss the issue. So kudos to Fitzgerald Service for the personalized follow-up on my issue.

As my first time visiting this place I would not recommend you to get your vehicle serviced or fixed here, Andy Portillo (assistant Service Manager) was extremely rude and was trying to rush me as if he was going to pay for the repairs on my car if your going to have the title as a “Manager” atleast have some respect and have patience instead of rushing customers through the process, that guy had no customer service experience whatsoever
