I foolishly broke the wiper blade lever over the weekend on my ‘23 VW Atlas Cross Sport. Called this place yesterday and they were available for me to bring it in on the spot. After having to order the part and wait a day for shipping, they quickly were able to replace it and get me back on the road within 24 hours. Dennis at the front desk was kind and thorough with explaining what the repair entailed. The price was very fair given the labor it took to replace the entire assembly that the lever is a part of. As long as I’m driving German, they have a loyal customer. Highly recommend.

Dennis the owner almost attacked me and threw the key on the floor and swore at me. I was very polite to ask him to explain the charge. This is the 3rd times i had to bring my BMW car back for him to fix the same problem. The first time he charged about $450 fee to fix it , the engine light came back immediately and i had to bring it back and leave at his garage for 4 days, he still charged me for the part , then when i came home , the engine light came back again, he asked to bring it back. I had to leave there another 3 days. This time he charged more than $400 for the same problem that should have have fixed in the first time. I am happy to pay the fee if he could explain to me what and why he charged me this time. It was very normal to ask that, in stead he was angry and swore and aggressive. . I am his customer and he was responsible to fix the issue that he already charged. I should have called the police but i didn’t. Run and don’t ever come here to fix the car. Make sure to use other German Auto Repair shop similar name but higher rating and service

Incredible experience from start to finish. Great service and very easy to do business with. My car needed a handful of things done from repair to regular maintenance, shopped around a few places and German Auto Works was the only place that promptly answered my call, shared extensive knowledge of all the work I needed and gave recommendations highlighting their experience and expertise with German cars (Im a BMW owner). On top of all that they were able to look over the engine and provide further recommendations with things to expect when owning a BMW. Far more knowledgeable than any other place I spoke to, they are simply experts sharing knowledge. 12/10 will absolutely use again (this was my 2nd time). I never write reviews but was compelled to given the experience!

I guess Dennis thought I was a mark. I always took my car to the dealership for oil changes and annual repair. To save money, I took my car here to get the exhaust manifold replaced. Dennis initially quoted me 750 for the entire job. When I dropped off my car he told me it would be 1600 for the repair. This isn't good business practice but I figured he would do a good job and it's cheaper than the dealership. I needed my car for work, and to travel to customers. So, I paid the man. A week later, I dropped off my car to have him fix some cosmetic issues being paid for by my insurance. I specifically asked him to check out a tire with a slow leak and fix the issue with my door handle. I would pay for these repairs. He told me it would be completed by the end of the week. Two weeks later a different company called me and told me to come pick up my vehicle. I though I was being scammed, but no. They did the work on the vehicle (and a mighty fine job I would say). He did not fix my tire or my door. Nor did he inform the other shop of my requests. Two days later, I returned for the issue with my tire and somehow he missed the shiny screw jammed into my tire. (I'm sure I picked it up there on my first visit). I decided that I will pay the other company to fix my door. I bought new tires from Costco. Here I am one week later and my check engine light comes on for an exhaust manifold issue. O.o what?!?! So I pop the hood and check for myself and the engine cover isn't seated properly. My engine is struggling for air. Is this man purposely trying to destroy my perfectly good engine??? So now I have to take it to a different mechanic to have them fix my car!!! This dude is a scam artist!! I ignored the red flags. One of the first things he told me was that I should trade in my car for a Honda if I didnt want to invest money into it because my car is a pos. I have TWO of the same cars a few years apart. One is almost 20 years old and 140k miles. It's still running beautifully. My daily driver ~115k miles has been perfectly maintained - by the dealer - for the past decade. I didn't have any problems until I met this man. I have every receipt for all of the work done to the vehicle. I thought I would save money by taking my car here instead of the dealer, but in the end I lost valuable time and thousands of dollars! Do NOT take your car here. He has job security because he will sabotage your vehicle to keep you coming back.

I’ve been going to German Auto Works for over 25 years. Dennis and his staff have always maintained me and my families vehicles with expertise, honesty, and integrity. All these qualities are rare to find in an auto shop. This shop is not close to my residence and I’m willing to take the drive to ensure I’m getting the best service at a great price. I highly recommend German Auto Works for all your auto issues. They have serviced our BMW, Honda, and our Hyundai with no issues whatsoever. A++ rating.
