I have been using Geyer's towing for years and recommend them to everyone who needs towing services. You can tell by looking at the condition of their trucks that they take pride in what they do. Every time I have needed their services, a driver has been dispatched promptly and they always make sure to take great care of the vehicle they are towing.

This morning I locked my keys in my car and had the quickest help imaginable! Geyers' had Sean out here for me within 15 minutes and he was able to get my car opened in just a minute. you helped me get back to my life! Thank you.

This place is absolutely horrible!!! I understand that this place is a business and when it comes to business matters, it's money over people, but Geyers could have been a lot more considerate in the way they handled my situation and my personal property. I got into an accident through no fault of my own and the cop on the scene reached out to these people while I was trying to sort through what had just happened with the accident. I told the police that my insurance was out of state and would not cover a tow. They told me that it was MD state law that they pay it and any other fees incurred. Since I felt like I didn't have much of a choice I let them take the car. Like I originally suspected my insurance refused to pay the cost of towing or the fee to have the car in the impound lot. I still had items in my car that I wanted to recover but these guys said that the only way I could get anything from the car is if I pay the fine which was around $2,000 at that point ($65/day). Nothing about the price per day or the cost of towing was discussed beforehand, instead I was randomly sent a letter from their company in the mail after a few weeks of not hearing from them (which I also thought was shady). Rather than work with me, these guys were upset when I said I couldn't pay the fine and told me that they would reach out to the DMV in my home state in an effort to get my license suspended for lack of payment. Luckily my home state didn't care and told them they would not pursue that option. I guess this pissed Geyers off because they then threw away all of my personal items in the car (some I imagine they stole) and destroyed my car and my license plates without telling me. When I tried to cancel my insurance they told me that I needed to turn in my license plates but I couldn't because Geyers had them destroyed. I don't ever plan to willingly do business with this company because of how I was treated and if you are smart, you wouldn't either. In response to Geyers' reply to this review: I was not made aware of or even told of the prices or the expectation of payment prior to my car being towed. What I was told by your employee was that my insurance would cover the cost of the tow and the cost of the car being held at your establishment. That was all I was told! I was not given a price list nor was I made aware of the expectations your company had of me as the owner of the vehicle. The only correspondence your company provided to me was a bill after a month of holding my car. When I went to you and tried to clarify the situation and asked if I could at least retrieve my belongings from the car, your employees were incredibly rude and refused me access to my personal property. If what you are telling me is the truth then it is your responsibility to communicate that information to me prior to your apprehending my vehicle. I DO blame your company because none of the information you have listed here was communicated to me and you took my car and my personal belongings under false pretenses and when I initially told you this in an effort to get my things back, you dismissed me and told me that you had already thrown all of my belongings away. By not being communicative about your policy or expectations of me as a vehicle owner who is not a resident of the state of MD, your company took advantage of me during a very vulnerable and difficult situation. Your company only added to my already stressful situation and no one deserves to go through what your company and your police department put me through.

We needed to have a vehicle towed from Frederick to Montgomery County. Geyers Towing is located out of Germantown, MD and not only were they cheaper than every tow company we called in Frederick, but they also had a quicker response time. The gentleman who towed the vehicle was personable, professional, and courteous. He cracked funny jokes and made sure to keep ample space in busy traffic so we could follow behind him. Top notch! I'd recommend Geyers Towing and will use their services again if the occasion arises.

I am shocked to see some great reviews here, because my experience after the accident I was involved in on April 11, 2024 was terrible. Geyers was called by the State Trooper, my vehicle was already on the shoulder, in fact all the vehicles involved were already on the shoulder. The tow truck driver came out of his vehicle and demanded that I remove all my belongings immediately and he has no time to wait for me. I asked him if that was the manner he should be speaking to me, he cockily answered yes, and when I asked for his name and company, he replied, “you will get it after you remove your belongings.” It was raining steadily and I was waiting for my ride at that time. He then proceeded to speak to the State Trooper who walked back with him to me. I told Officer Yarbrough that the driver’s attitude and manner was rude and I do not tolerate rudeness. I finally got his name at the end and his name is Aaron. This driver needs to be taught manners, I am not asking for compassion nor his pity, but rudeness is definitely not tolerable. The accident happened on 1-270 northbound underneath the Grosvenor Lane overpass.
