$3,000 later and my car is still shaking and vibrating. This is quite literally one of the worst shops I’ve been to—and that’s saying something because I have never, ever complained about a shop before. Absolutely zero accountability taken. This is exactly why I prefer to take my business to female-owned shops. The ego at this place is insane. They act like they know everything and are always right. When I first sent them the form from my previous mechanic, I asked them on the phone if they wanted to see the quote or the inspection from what the last mechanic had already done on the car. I couldn’t afford those repairs at the time and decided to try somewhere new because my mom suggested the shop down the street. Big mistake. Never once did I say the purpose was just to pass inspection. Both my mother and I clearly expressed that we just needed the car working. Then right when I’m about to pick up the car, they decide to say, “Oh, we could have easily avoided the $3,000.” Apparently they made a mistake because I sent them that inspection form. Had they simply asked for clarification when I sent it, this could have been avoided. The smugness from this place is unbelievable. They seem to think that because they speak calmly they’re somehow above you. When we came to pick up the car, the biggest insult was them telling us this situation is basically on us and not on them. My mom tried to express that she was upset about the communication and customer service, and the guy kept cutting her off. No woman I have ever worked with has spoken to me or my mom like that. I walked in and said, “I’m here to pick up my car.” He paused, looked at me, and said, “I said hello.” I stayed silent because I’m not even in the mood. He repeated himself again as if to force me to say hello back, and I asked him, “Are you my father?” He then got up and told John, “Handle her.” John then proceeds to mansplain that they’re a “cordial family business.” Mind you, all I said was that I was here to pick up my car and asked if he was my father. If that comment alone is enough to make you get up from your desk, then you’re not cut out for the real world or customer service. I’ve worked in retail my entire life and have never behaved like this toward customers. I’ve also never received a complaint. $3,000 later and my car is still shaking and vibrating. And to make it worse, he waited until the last minute to discover the issue. Now we’re already at $3,600 and simply cannot afford any more repairs on this car. If he had simply turned the damn car on earlier, he would have noticed that it was shaking. I’m absolutely disgusted—especially with John. Avoid this place if you’re a woman because they like to tussle and go back and forth. It’s embarrassing. Lastly, after they did the inspection, I asked for the price point. Apparently the “system” was down so they couldn’t send the inspection report. When my mom followed up, they started acting very weird. At that point I already wanted to take the car back to my usual mechanic, who always does an amazing job. Instead, go to the shop at 5550 Greenbelt Road. Great establishment. John even tried to argue with me when I supposedly called his business a “little shop,” trying to correct me like it was some kind of joke. I’m not in the mood for jokes when you’re telling me it’s my fault that I’m in this situation after paying $3,000—especially when it could have been much cheaper if they had simply asked for clarification. I’m just disgusted. So yes, the car is technically “fixed,” but the wheel is still shaking and the entire car is vibrating. Embarrassing for them.

From the initial consultation this team was clear in explaining the necessary work and completed it in a timely manner. I felt really confident in the service provided. I would highly recommend this amazing shop to everyone seeking reliable and quality automotive and tire care. Thanks so much John
