Took my prius in there with an exhaust smell in the passenger compartment. Hamiltons identified the problem and fixed it for a very fair price. They've done great work at a fair price on my Ford truck as well. Friendly staff every one of them. Can't be beat.

Hamilton Auto service put a rebuilt engine in a Cherokee, timing belt in a Volvo, spark plugs in a Colorado and caravan, and repaired the frame on a Toyota pick up for me. All work done excellent with no issues or problems and prices are fair. Hamilton Auto service is a family business That treats you like a member of the family.

Unfortunately I won't let me leave zero stars. I had my truck towed to this garage after making a major error one morning and put DEF in my diesel tank. I realized as soon as I did it that I screwed up and never started it. Got on the phone with them they said don't start it which I didn't and recommended a tow truck drive to come pick it up. He told me he would have to flush the tank and put new diesel in. I get a call 2 days later saying that he has bad news. The truck ran for 20 minutes and then shut off throwing a fuel contamination code. Put a new filter on it ran it again.. same thing it shuts off. Gets on the phone to someone who knows what they're doing and he tells him unfortunately now the whole fuel system is shot.. the lines the fuel pumps the injector everything... its a $15-$17k repair at this point. He then says let's get it towed to a dealer and see if they'll fix it under warranty. Of course the dealer says it's not a warranty issue which it isn't. I tell them this and they tell me to call my car insurance company and file a claim. It's absolutely ridiculous that they won't even entertain calling their liability insurance company. They want to put blame on me and the tow truck driver for turning the ignition (not the engine) on long enough to put it into neutral and unlock the steering. He claims that the fuel system was already contaminated when it arrived... yet it ran for 20 minutes before it shut off. Long story short is the tank never should have been attempted to be cleaned rhey cant be cleaned. The tank should have been dropped and replaced altogether. I was responsible for the tank yes.. but they turned a small problem into a very large problem and don't want to take any responsibility. Hell they even threw the poor tow truck driver into it claiming he messed up the system by turning on the ignition for a few seconds. These people are not trustworthy and trust me I am not the only one who has a story like this from this shop. Most of these positive reviews they have are coming from friends and family. I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else

The best service center in Baltimore and Harford County. Very cool owners, great work, honest and fair pricing. I wish I wasn't moving but I'm going to try to stay a customer here. I was amazed they fixed my window and door panel in my Mustang. Natural talent. Anything I needed for my vehicles since they opened was taken care, fast fair and complete.
