I purchased a Subaru Forester last night after extensive research online and wanted share my experience. I visited their lot last Wednesday to see and test drive the car I saw online. I returned for a second look and put money down for the purchase. High Rated Auto deals with higher mileage used cars and a good inventory of different makes and models that they are very familiar with. The staff is attentive and not pressuring. The buying experience was pleasant without a lot of sales tactics. They provided a fair offer on our trade-in and priced the car competitively. The car had gone through the Maryland inspection process and had no issues. Raj, Malik and Shawn were attentive and answered all my questions. I found one other car similar in mileage, features, and age within the same price range but higher, and it was two states away in New Jersey and had been in an accident. Don't expect a new car sales environment as they maintain a low overhead and sell high mileage cars where they are familiar with the quality, performance, and value. I would buy another car from High Rated Auto Company and recommend any one looking for a higher mileage car known for its reliability to do the same. Do your research first so you know what you want and can afford then check out their inventory to see if they have what you want.

What a wonderful experience buying a used car from HRAC. Saw the car online. Let them know I was interested. They responded right away. Answered all of my questions. Very polite and professional. Will definitely recommend to friends. Would buy from HRAC again.

Honestly. i wouldn't buy a car from here even with the good reviews. I scheduled a test drive for a vehicle. i drove up there the day before the test drive just go check this place out. A guy came up and asked us if we needed help and we told him the car we were going to test drive the next day. He proceeded to tell us the car already sold, and that they had no other volvos on the lot. on the way out we noticed a volvo on the lot; this volvo i was looking at on there website just by looking at it (in person )you can tell the breaks were rusted out, probably about to fail. another thing about there website, they cant even put the correct vehicle description. for example; the 2015 volvo xc 60 is listed to have a 6 cylinder, in fact it has a 4 cylinder drive-E engine, one of the worst engine models of this year, seems sketchy that they wanna describe the car to have the more reliable 6 cylinder, this also applies for the 2015 volvo s60 they have listed. if these cars have "sold" why are they still listed? to waist peoples time? i didnt even get a message saying the car was sold until the day of my test drive. seems like a trap and the place looks like a hack chop shop. wouldn't trust it, neither should you. and i see yall replying to 1 star reviews all snarky, yall just scammers and dont wanna be caught, selling rusted lemon cars. take it from a mechanic, go somewhere elsewhere with your time and money. oh and one last thing, and this goes for anywhere, if you see on there online pictures that the car is wet, they are trying to hide some sort of paint damage.
