They are great, need service this is the place to go, great prices, the people are wonderful. I called and they said come on, they did my battery, changed my engine belt and my brakes were fixed within 2-1/2 hours. While I waited. I was like WOW. KUDOS. My, dad, husband.👍🏽👏🏽 Won't let no one else fix on my car!🚘

June 2022 my steering started to tighten on my car as I came off 295 to Suitland Pkwy. After a few stop and go, I managed to roll my car into Hillcrest repair shop. I had little point of reference for this shop; it just happened to be the closest place I could get to. The service was great! I believe the owner/lead mechanic was Alfonso. He was great! They offered OEM parts and a fast turn around. My car was ready the next evening. I highly recommend this company for reliable auto repair. Seven months later and no problems.

This is the only place I go to get anything done to any of my cars. Alfonso, the owner, is super cool and honest to a fault. If it's not worth the work, he'll tell you. The staff is friendly, and highly knowledgeable about all parts of the car. The best part is, they don't cheat you. The work is always top quality, and worth it. These people don't cut corners; you get exactly what you need, every time. If they say you need it, you need it. Bottom line: they love cars, and love making them work. For me, that and their honesty have me sold. A few people have made bad reviews, but i think the real issue is, as I said, he explains what is needed, why, and whether or not it's worth the work. From there on, it's up to you.

Phenomenal service! Fit me in last minute for an oil change. I was in and out within 30 minutes. He even checked my tire pressure and did a once over to let me know my car was running well. I’ll be coming back here.

Now this really hurts my heart to write this review. Been coming to Hillcrest automotive for well over 15 years. Before Alphonso took over. There used to be an older gentleman who used to work on all of my vehicles. Alphonso is a great mechanic. I am not sure who worked on my truck this past experience. So I took my 2001 Ford Expedition in because it was shaking while driving. Was told I needed to replace all spark plugs and wires. Cost me a little over $450.00. Couple of days later the same problem occurred. Now I was told I needed a new catalytic converter. Alphonso explained the bad catalytic converter was causing my spark plugs to backfire. So why was this not diagnosed the week before. So now I am out of $450.00 and my vehicle is still not running smoothly. On another occasion I brought the same truck for an oil change. And 0when I picked my vehicle05 up. I drove down the street and my change oil light came back on. I took it straight back to the shop. And was advised they never even completed the oil change. Hurts my heart as I have had all my vehicles serviced here but I will NEVER bring another vehicle of mines here again
