Brought my car in for a state inspection. They recommended several additional service items, which I declined. Specifically I felt the quote for a tire rotation was excessive and asked that they defer this service. At pickup, the cost was quite a bit higher than I had been quoted over the phone for the services I requested. On review of the receipt, they had done the tire rotation I had requested they defer. Tom, the customer service rep, told me that he “doesn’t recall what we discussed on the phone” and offered me $30 off my next service, which I will not be using because I’d rather not frequent a place with such sketchy business practices.

Totally recommend Hillmuth! I ordered tires from Tire Rack for my Rivian, and they recommended Hillmuth Tire & Automotive as a local installer. The tires shipped directly to the shop, and check-in was seamless. During the initial installation, the team discovered that two of the tires had balancing issues and were defective. This is where Hillmuth really stood out—they worked directly with me and Tire Rack to get replacement tires, making what could have been a frustrating situation completely manageable. When the new tires arrived, they used road force balancing (the most accurate method available) and made sure all the numbers came in perfectly. The car now rides incredibly smooth. Even though there were some hiccups with the tires themselves, Hillmuth guided me through the entire process and made it stress-free. Really glad Tire Rack pointed me their way. —I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend

I cannot thank the team at Hillmuth Automotive enough! After being told by a dealership down the road that I needed a week-long wait for a "diagnostic" on a stuck wiper, I drove three minutes over to Hillmuth. Despite the fact that I had never been there before, the guys came right out to my car. They adjusted a nut on the wiper and had it fixed in literally 2 minutes. They didn’t even charge me! They saved my 8-hour trip to Boston the next day. This is a shop that understands true customer service and honest work. They have definitely earned a new loyal customer. Highly recommended!

At Hillsmuth you are taken care of like family, I hit some snow concrete and flattened my tire. I called Terry and got an apt that day and all 4 tires needed replaced. They replaced the tires and balance them and rotated the tires and I was on my way the same day. The gave me estimates and called to give me options of what I needed to replace if I couldn’t do it all at one time due to price. I would highly recommend .
