This shop has been beyond fantastic to work with. Had my car go through catastrophic engine failure and the folks at Hillmuth helped diagnose this issue early and walked me through these issues as a broke college student who's never had a car turn into a paperweight before. Kevin especially has gone above and beyond when it comes to communicating with me; giving me realistic expectations for services while also offering beyond competitive prices for my issues. Their mechanics are incredibly knowledgeable and have a diverse background in auto-dealerships, and will not give you the runaround. Above all, I appreciate the candor of everyone at this location, and plan to always take my cars here; even the pre-purchase inspection on my car was a breeze with them. Can not recommend these people nearly enough.

The website for Hillmuth Auto Care states 'The Hillmuth Difference Where exceptional service meets automotive expertise.' and after two experiences (two different cars) in less than a month, I can confirm this is absolutely true. In both instances we dealt with Nick Pappas the Service Manager. After dropping off our cars, Nick had a certified technician do a thorough assessment of the car. We were emailed a very detailed report of repairs and a phone call by Nick with the same information. Nick answered all of our questions and based on his knowledge & the technician; we were very comfortable moving forward with the repairs. Nick informed of us the rental car and shuttle services in the event we needed either of those. When picking up the cars (they were ready when promised), Nick greeted us with a big smile! With Nick's professionalism, expertise and knowing you can trust his words and the expertise of the work of Hillmuth, they have just gained two more lifetime customers! I use Hillmuth for my fleet maintenance and repairs. They are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. They are top notch from start to finish! I have been using Hillmuth for over two years and my fleet is 81 vehiclss strong. I take my personal vehicle to Hillmuth for service and repairs. I would not be doing business with them if they were not fully committed to making their customers happy and doing the job right! They are genuinely good people which seems to be more difficult to find these days! I am very happy that I did find them!!!

Hillmuth Auto Care in Columbia, MD went above and beyond to help me create a workable plan for repairs to my vehicle. Kevin in Service patiently worked out my options with Hillmuth’s head mechanic and answered my many questions. He also spoke with both the local Ford dealership where I had bought the car 2 months prior and the warranty company to clarify how repairs would be covered. Although I was surprised and frustrated that I ended up being responsible for the entire cost of repairs, I felt confident that Hillmuth Auto had done its best to help me. The cost of repairs came in lower than the agreed-upon price, my vehicle is running very well, and I can confidently recommend Hillmuth Auto for their professionalism, patience, empathy and honesty. Kevin deserves special acknowledgment for the effort he puts into helping Hillmuth customers.

First time using Hillmuth and I was very impressed. After 22 years with a repair shop located 1 street over i decided it was time for a change. After an extensive search I decided on Hillmuth based on reviews. The appointment process was very easy online and there was a spot available the same day. Kevin was my CRSA and awesome to work with. I was very impressed by the text with pictures detailing the observations and repairs to consider in the future. I've never seen that before but that is great for all customers. I was happy they diagnosed a leak that I've been dealing with and the cost was fair. The customer service was the best and everyone was friendly. It was sort of like the TV show Cheers were everyone knows your name and you can just walk in the door and announce "Hi, I'm Matt" and Kevin handled the rest. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
