Mike was so great! I’m on a long car trip from New Jersey to Tennessee and had to get something fixed quickly. Mike was so easy and wonderful to work with. Thank you so much! Merry Christmas! 🎄

Awesome, efficient, friendly service, even for a newcomer! Very helpful up front, and get the job done with a reasonable price, without any pushing of additional “services”. Good people. I’m done with dealerships. Will be back!

I came in with my 2 year old daughter needing a patch for my tire unexpectedly. They were extremely accommodating and kind. They assured me everything was okay and that they were going to fix it right away. They showed me to their amazing waiting room and told me I could put on a movie for my daughter. For anyone with a toddler, you can understand how stressful this situation could have been. I'm genuinely so thankful for their help and I'll now be coming here for all of my auto care needs. Thank you so much.

Not sure if it is dishonesty or incompetence but I will not be back to Hoffmaster's. I have had 2 incidences that caused me to lose all confidence in this shop. The most egregious was that they quoted me $7,000 for a transmission replacement which turned out to be a $700 battery sensor replacement and a software update after I took it to a dealership service center. In addition, when I informed Hoffmaster's that I was not going to have the work done at their shop, they added $300 to the bill from what they previously told me the price would be. They told me it was for a battery replacement which I neither requested nor approved and I had not experienced any issues with my battery before bringing it to their shop. The previous incident that made me question their capability was an engine leak that they could not identify but charged me $150 to tell me that they couldn't find it. The dealership service center that I went to for the sensor fix was able to identify the leak without me even telling them that I was experiencing one. While I do understand that Hoffmaster's were charging me for their time, a big part of what we as customers are paying for is expertise and that was not demonstrated in this case nor in the misdiagnosis with the transmission/battery sensor. These 2 incidences cost me about $600 (or $850 if I included the wasted tow cost) with nothing to show for it. I hope this review protects other consumers and inspires Hoffmaster's to do better by their customers. I prefer to support family businesses and before moving to MD I had an excellent family owned shop that I used for all my vehicle service/repair needs for about 15 years. I hope I can find that here.
