Transmission rebuilt with top quality parts and engine rear main seal replaced. He does vehicle service work too not just transmissions. Dave communicates great and is willing to show you what he is replacing and why. I am completely satisfied with his work. Best shifting transmission I have had. Highly recommend Hollywood transmission & auto for all your repair or service needs.
VETERANS BEWARE
I don’t usually leave reviews, but Dave at Hollywood Transmission and Automotive really deserves one. He runs the whole shop himself and still manages to provide the kind of honest, personal service that’s hard to find anymore. From the start, he treated me with respect and took the time to explain everything clearly, without any pressure or sales pitch. I brought my truck in with what turned out to be a serious transmission issue. Dave could have done a quick fix, charged me, and sent me on my way knowing I’d be back with more problems. But instead, he was upfront about everything and told me the truth, even when it meant no money for him. He walked me through my options and made sure I understood what would actually help in the long run, especially since my truck is still under warranty. He spent a lot of his own time talking with me over the phone and in the shop, making sure I had all the info I needed to make the right decision. That kind of integrity is rare these days. If you want someone who’s honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely looks out for his customers, go see Dave. He’s earned my trust and my business for good.

Hollywood transmission custom built my 2010 f150 for my firewood wood business. They have connections to get hard to find parts. One of the upgraded parts was the the last one in the country. They we incredibly knowledgeable about transmission, and kept me in the loop during the transmission rebuild. We were so happy with the quality of their work we took my wife’s Jeep to them. They price on transmission rebuild was great. I will be recommending them to family and friends.
