went in today 12/1/25 to get a Md inspection mr. allen showed great customer service and even asked me if i wanted to ride up and get lunch with him since i got there right before lunch time 😂 typing this from my wife google account....thank you to the staff at hunter's automotive for a good experience

This place is a joke! A real scam. If you’re in need of car repairs, state inspection please go somewhere else!! He had our car for a month and did nothing! He took it apart and lied every day saying he was waiting for parts. Every time we arrived at the shop it was other customers there complaining about the same issue. I don’t know how he’s on business. We paid him $500 for work never done. We needed a state inspection. After paying him he told us to we could take the truck after having it for a month. He said if we get everything repaired bring it back and he’d sign off in inspection. After spending $1500 to fix everything he said needed to be repaired he still wanted to keep the truck for another 3 days to verify before he’d sign off on a state inspection. Why does it take 3 days for inspection. This guys a joke! I could write a book on the encounters.

Called and asked for an MD state inspection. Had me in the same day. Inspected my car. It needed 1 repair. Did that 1 repair while I was still on site. Passed my inspection. Accepted a mixture of cash and debit card. Gave me a receipt. Gave me my inspection report. Took me for a joy ride around the block. 100% pleased with my first visit here, and I will definitely come back for needs that they are able to help me with. Elmer Stone is a very kind, friendly, and relatable guy and it was a pleasure of an experience!

Allen and his helper are excellent they inspected my 2006 civic took care of the small problems it had and off i went very good prices if you want fair prices come to hunters automotive

Got my inspection for motorcycle done here the guy seemed to be very overwhelmed had a lot on his plate made deals that i don’t think he could keep. Did get my inspection done but could see that it wasn’t a timely well ran business. Doesn’t have any record books or time slots. Would help them a lot if they had a receptionist that kept a book of peoples vehicles and times. Just tells people to bring there car in, makes deals he can’t keep. My business with him went very well but it did seem he had a lot on his plate. Needs to keep a record book of when people bring vehicles in and out would fix a lot of issues.
