This has to be one of the worst shops ever. They do Geico repairs so that’s how my son ended up at this location. Just to get a tail light and trunk fixed has been over three weeks. They state every time they paint my son’s vehicle the paint keeps chipping off. So instead of getting competent employees they keep repainting the vehicle. My son has been out of a vehicle, he is disabled so he has been stuck without a way to get food home nor a way to work. This place has given so many excuses for why the vehicle is not complete I feel compelled to come here and leave a comment. I cannot believe the reasonings why after 3 weeks nothing is completed. We have made a complaint against this business with Geico and with yet another excuse and another projected completion date of Friday. If you value your vehicle AND your time, do not take your vehicle to this location what so ever. I cannot believe tell you after talking around town we are not the only ones that have had this issue at this place. So I thought I’d leave you a real comment about what to expect here. Watching this situation like a hawk and what happens AFTER my son gets his car back. I just may need a lawyer let me tell you.

Katie was very helpful with the starting process of getting my car fixed. Going from the initial estimate, quick responses, calling the insurance company for me. She took care of everything. The Ideal team got my car fixed in 2 days due to me being in need of a quick turn around. My car looks BEAUTIFUL I am so happy with the work that was done. Thank you!!!

Let me tell you about Ideal Auto Body LLC, They provide a great and personable service. I had outer damage on my vehicle of course, but they found interior damage as well. They were able to get everything fixed in a reasonable time. I even had to push back my pick up day because i wasn't in town and they were able to accommodate me with no problem. If i ever have to have body work done on my vehicle again I'll definitely be going to Ideal Auto Body LLC.

***STAY AWAY FROM IDEAL AUTO BODY LLC IN HAVOVER, PA*** I brought my 99' GMC Sonoma pickup truck in to have my front brake pads replaced. They charged me about $200 for the job. When I left, my Brake Warning light was on, my brakes were screeching loudly, and now it takes me about 100 yards to come to a complete stop from 35mph. The warning light was not on before I dropped the truck off. I called to ask about the warning light and if maybe they flushed and drained the brake fluid. They claimed that they only replaced the pads and that the screeching would go away. They also said they test drove it and didn't notice the warning light was on. How can you possibly do a brake job, then test drive the vehicle and not even notice the brake light on? Answer: Easy. You don't do the job, and then you lie about it and say that you did. That's exactly what they did. Three days later, I took my truck to a different mechanic. He pulled the pads off and showed them to me. They were the same worn out pads that I had paid to be replaced. He told me they likely just adjusted my calipers, if anything, but they definitely did not replace the pads. Ideal Auto Service charged me $200 to change my front brake pads. Now... - my Brake Warning light is on (it wasn't on before the "work") - my brakes are screeching loudly - I cannot safely come to a complete stop within an acceptable distance ***STAY AWAY FROM IDEAL AUTO BODY LLC IN HAVOVER, PA***
