Almost lost my life due to this shops negligence. They put a tire on my car and over torqued the bolt . I almost got in a car accident and told the manager about it . He was insensitive about my case . I slept in my car that day due to va police trying to impound my car cause it was immobile. Showed him where the bolts snapped and he still acted like I was lieing . And said he would give a discount which didn’t make sense considering I almost died . 10-10 don’t recommend. Will never use this shop again .

So here's my experience: from 2004 to 2022 - no problem! 2023 when Andy became manager/owner - terrible! Andy is a very likable guy but he's taking short cuts that gave me negative experiences my last two times there in 2023. They no longer balance back tires when in previous years they always have. Andy told me they didn't need it. Used tires? Of course they do. I wound up going back because my tire was bouncing all over the road. At my insistence, he balanced it (after initially lying, saying he balanced it, when he saw the weights from the previous tire). After he balanced it like he should have, of course everything was fine. In December 2023 I went back because a tire needed to be plugged. I should have gotten very suspicious when the two guys there were trying to plug the tire without taking it off the car, asking me to expose the tire while backing up. Of course that didn't work. They removed the tire, found the hole and simply put in the plug. They did not ream the hole or apply glue to the plug, they just put it in and didn't check if it was still leaking. When I complained, they insisted they have superior plugs that didn't need it. Why did I believe them? When I got to my destination in Delaware, the tire was half flat and by the following morning completely flat. I called and spoke with Andy and he stood by their work but said they should have checked for any leaks afterward. But he insisted that they do not use glue. When I tried to remove the tire to fix it myself, the 2 stooges had put the lug nut on so tight, the lug stem came clean off! After going to this place for nearly 20 years I will NEVER return there. They're taking ignorant short cuts that may eventually kill somebody someday!

Absolutely 5 stars. Came late in the day to get an alignment on my lifted 2022 Tacoma. Other big name shops wouldn’t touch it because it needed a custom alignment. These guys dialed it in perfectly to the specs I needed. Super nice, and extra professional. Give these guys a chance!

For lack of knowledge! This place charged me $20.00 to balance each tire, for a total of $80.00. It's a rip-off! Never go to this place. I highly recommend Mr. Tire. This type of place never advances or grows because they are so unscrupulous and unfair to the consumer.
