I was referred to J&M Service Center by a client, and I’m so glad I started bringing my car here. It’s refreshing to find a shop that leads with honesty and integrity. J&M did a thorough evaluation, explained clearly what needed to be done (and what didn’t), and never pressured me into unnecessary services. They’ve earned my full trust, and it’s rare to find that in auto repair. Highly recommended!

I took my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe in for a while-you-wait appointment at 8:00 AM for oil and filter change and a tire rotation. My car was ready in 25 minutes! I have always been happy with the top notch service provided by Joe and his staff, but I could not let this amazing performance slip by without noting it.

This is my new go to shop for any auto issues! My timing belt broke in my engine so I had it towed it to j&m. Joe had it looked at and fixed it in a couple days. Unfortunately other parts of my engine were messed up, Joe found them told me how they work and why they needed to be replaced. I didn’t end up doing it but Joe was kind enough to even help find a junkyard for me. on top of all this the estimate was around $800 after all the labor and parts. But with Joes’ expertise he got it done fast. Joe treated me well and when everything was done with his swiftness and skill it was less than $500 in the end. There’s not much places where the mechanic actually cares for the customer and gives them the time to explain everything and that doesn’t charge as much as they can. Please keep this place open for as long as possible it’s the best auto shop in SOMD!!

Outstanding customer service! We were visiting the area on vacation when we ran into a potentially serious vehicle issue and we needed someone to take a look at it just to make sure we could make the 5 hr drive home. We called around to multiple businesses in the area and no one was willing to just take a look at it to give us a diagnosis. J&M agreed to squeeze us in between jobs to take a look on a busy Friday morning! They diagnosed the issue and provided a temporary solution so we could get home safely and didn’t even charge us for their time. Incredibly grateful for people and small businesses like this. If I lived in this area I would only go to J&M! I urge you to consider J&M for your auto repair needs!

J&M did a fantastic job diagnosing two separate problems quickly, got the parts ordered for both problems, and after waiting for the parts to arrive over the long weekend, received the parts on Monday and Tuesday, I dropped my car off Tuesday night after hours, and they called me at noon Wednesday telling me my car was ready for pickup. Repairs completed. I will be having J&M working on my cars in the future! Thanks so very much Joe!!
