Review for Jones Toyota – Bel Air, MD I had a very disappointing experience today at Jones Toyota, specifically with service advisor Karen Williams. During my visit, Karen made it a point—twice—to tell me that she has been with Jones Toyota for 16 years. Unfortunately, that experience came across not as helpful, but condescending, which made the interaction uncomfortable and unprofessional. I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation, as I have done for several years under Jones Toyota’s free oil changes for life program, and in accordance with the maintenance notification on my vehicle. I typically get my oil changed every ~5,000 miles, and this visit was no different. To my surprise, I was informed at the appointment that I would be paying for the oil change. Had I known that Jones Toyota would falter on or no longer honor its “free oil changes for life” program, I would have gone to my neighborhood dealership instead. There was no advance notice, no clear explanation, and no effort to address the issue—only an expectation that I accept it. After years of loyalty, the lack of transparency, coupled with a condescending attitude, is unacceptable. Today was my last visit to Jones Toyota in Bel Air.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my latest experience with Jones Toyota. Two days ago a warning light came on while I was driving my 2012 Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid in the country late in the afternoon. The message indicted that something needed to be checked in the hybrid system. I called Jones and asked Ally, the customer service representative who answered, whether this was an emergency. She promptly checked with Terry, a mechanic, and advised me that I should indeed come in without delay. At Jones, Ally was waiting for me and expedited an inspection, during which Terry found (and documented via video) that one or more rodents had chewed nearly through crucial wires associated not only with the hybrid system but with the brakes as well. His initial evaluation took only a half-hour, and he showed me the damage that was visible and promised me an even more thorough inspection the next morning. The subsequent inspection revealed additional serious problems, including to the brakes. Ally called me even before 0800 that morning and clearly explained the problems and my options. She also sent me videos of both inspections and told me that Terry had in addition performed, unasked, a complementary repair of longstanding damage to the passenger-side front bumper. When I picked up my car, Terry showed me where and how to place rodent deterrents and Ally found a way to reduce my bill even more. Both she and Terry were knowledgeable, patient, and personable and went the extra mile for me. I will definitely be coming back to Jones because of them. Oh, and a shoutout to as well to Jesse at the rental-car desk; he was also efficient and friendly and quickly got me the kind of rental car that I wanted. Kudos to all for outstanding service!

Super friendly and knowledgeable. They make suggestions and care about your safety. They offer great discounts. The communication between your advisor, the technician and me (client) is clear and concise. They showed me a video of tire fraying that probably saved my life. Very efficient. They are a great solution to automotive needs. A special shout to my advisor Michael Gonsalves for his honesty and friendliness. Thank you to the technician for finding the danger on my tire. I love coming to jones. Bought my rav 4 here and still going strong after 90,000 miles thanks to them. The customer service is top notch. Special shout out to Lauryn for always going above and beyond
