I had a wonderful experience here at Koons Volvo of Whitemarsh!! Me and my wife were in a bad situation both of our cars broken down and unable to use with one of us left in a rental. The staff and managers here worked with us with the numbers and we left out happier than we ever could! These people care about you! Come shop ;)

I purchased a pre-owned Volvo out of state. This was my first visit to koons. Jacob went above and beyond with helping me get my vehicle on the road and making me feel welcome to the Koons Volvo family! Disappointing Service Experience! I’ve been leasing and servicing my Volvo at this dealership for some time now and have always had positive experiences — until this most recent visit. Unfortunately, this was the first time I felt genuinely let down. I’d like to outline a few key concerns: 1. Unexpected Alignment Charge: I brought the car in to have one tire replaced, which was agreed upon. During a phone call, I was told that an alignment would be done. However, I was not informed that there would be an additional charge, nor was it explained why an alignment was necessary — especially given that the other tires showed no signs of uneven wear. This felt like an unnecessary upsell, and I was disappointed that no one communicated this beforehand. 2. Tire Pressure Not Reset: When I picked up the car after two days, the tire pressure monitoring system had not been reset. When I asked about it, the service advisor simply said, “I guess it didn’t take when we did it. You just need to press the reset when the car is stationary.” If the car was with you for two days, couldn’t this have been checked and corrected before returning it to the customer? 3. Car Was Not Washed: In the past, my car was always returned clean after service. This time, it was not washed. While not a critical issue, this small gesture had always been appreciated and helped reinforce a positive experience. 4. Hybrid Returned with Zero Charge: I drive a hybrid, and the car was returned to me with zero battery charge. Again, considering the car was at the dealership for two days, would it not have been reasonable to plug it in? Especially since your dealership sells charging equipment and specializes in hybrid and electric Volvos? This small extra step would go a long way toward enhancing customer satisfaction and encouraging positive reviews. I am giving it 3 stars because Jen saved your day: Jen arranges my loaners and always offers exceptional service but that is where it stoped this time. I share this feedback not to complain, but in the hope that it helps your team maintain the high standards I've come to expect from this dealership. I sincerely hope my next visit will restore my confidence in your service.

I brought my car in for the 30K mile service. I expected it to take a couple hours, however by the time I got home a finished my first cup of coffee. Dan called to tell me the car was ready. 5 mins later, I called back to have him check the interior light; he willingly did so and advised it would be resolved when I came to pickup the car. Dan was great and very accommodating. Excellent service!
