Omar and his team at Liberty helped me with a coolant issue with my Dodge Durango and now the car is running as good as new and it has over 195k miles and is 15 years old! Very fair prices, quick services, and clear communication. Omar and his team have just started in this location in the last six months but I recommend them if you are looking for mechanical services in the Beltsville/College Park area.

A Fantastic Update to a Local Mechanic I recently visited the auto shop at the College Park Liberty gas station and was blown by the changes. Under new ownership, they have completely renovated the building and, most importantly, outfitted the garage with brand-new, modern equipment. The new manager, Omar, leads a skilled team. His background as a Tesla engineer brings a high level of technical expertise that you don't always find at a local shop. This translates to fast, accurate diagnostics and repairs. They fixed my car's issue quickly and got me back on the road without any hassle. Between the clean facility, the new technology, and the knowledgeable staff, this is now my go-to mechanic. I strongly recommend giving them a try!

Took my car to get a diagnostics on what’s wrong with my A/C and overall car. Calvin called me to tell me the estimate and how my car was overheating and needed a sensor. He then calls me the next day and gives me another estimate and tells me i need a new compressor for starting at $500-600 which was insane knowing it’s never that expensive for a part for my car. He gives me a whole other price for my car which was not good so I decided to take my car back. He then gives me my car with no diagnostics paper. I paid $99 for a diagnostics. I ask him where’s the paper that list everything that’s wrong with my car. He then writes on a piece of paper “Ac compressor is not working” with a pen. My step dad then tells him it’s unprofessional and everywhere you get a diagnostics you get a paper that list everything that’s was tested on your car. He apologizes and says he’s right and does nothing about it. Paid for $95 for a piece of paper that states nothing and my car still not fixed. My family has come here before a couple of years ago and had great expiernces. My sister and I came within the same month this year and we both had the same issue of no diagnostics paper and the same “AC” issue? It’s giving taking advantage of girls for their lack of knowledge on cars! Never recommending anybody here again. A simple google search for the part he is claiming that cost “$500” is clearly under $500 for the full kit and $140 for just the compressor by itself (picture attached) and the MD laws for a written summary….

On Sunday 10/13 on the way home to DC from a road trip, my car started flashing lights, specifically the AT Oil Temp light which meant I needed to pull off and stop driving. This shop was the closest to where we were, and although it was not open, they let me leave my car on their lot and fill out a form for their mechanic. While the head mechanic was not in until Tuesday (10/16), he called my partner very quickly, diagnosed the issue, and said he could have it done by that evening. He personally went to the Subaru dealership to get the part, and like he said, the car was done that night. My partner handled the communications, so I am not sure who assisted, but based on the reviews, I am assuming it was Tek. He replaced my transmission valve body ($1,180), valve body gasket ($15), and valve body wiring ($76). All in all, the total labor cost was $360, bringing my total with tax to $1,732. The repair was done fast, and based on my research, at a very fair price. My car is now running smoothly, and I don't foresee there being any further issues. If I am to ever have an issue with my car again. I will absolutely bring it back to this shop. Thank you!

They are very fast to help you out but for a punctured tire they don’t do patches so I had to go elsewhere.
