SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I kept having to take the truck back for a terrible quality paint job that cost me $2k. There is a noticeable blue hue/ tint where doors and panels meet. I first seen it super obviously on the driver side then also seen it on the passenger side, just not as obvious. The manager Don try’s to tell me it was like that prior to having the truck repainted and gave me this elaborate bs explanation trying to justify the flaw when its own painters confirmed it was an issue. I have countless pictures of my vehicle prior to them painting it and there is nothing like that on the paint. The painter there is saying it’s the clear coat and he’s confirming that he can also see it but Don insists it’s not there. They redid the passenger side and that weird blue issue I had is no longer there but now refusing to redo the driver side THAT HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. Customer service is terrible at this place. I DO NOT recommend. Save your money and go elsewhere. It’s confirmed that MAACO is like the Jiffy lube of automotive repairs. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I used to Maaco just recently to fix the side of my car. They really did a fantastic job. You can’t even tell that there was big scrape. Not only did they do a great job, but their price was also very reasonable. I took my car to two other places just to get some numbers and Maaco was by far the cheapest- by at least half. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Please do not get your car painted here. I paid 3500 for their ultimate paint job and there is a brown hue all over my vehicle under the black coating. I broufht it back and the owner Don had a poor attitude with me and seemed annoyed. He blamed the damage done to my bumper on me and had refused to repaint the car. I feel ripped off. What a waste of money. I am highly insulted that he would insinuate that I caused this damage. Per the below response, the owner replies here allegedly offering to make things right by posting their number, but when I spoke to the owner in person he refused to do anything to fix this. I will post my receipts. I called the number and it goes straight to voicemail.

The manager Don , is very friendly and helpful. The staff worked fast , I received my truck back in less than 5days !!! Price was really fair and I’m very happy with my paintjob. I highly recommend Maaco (Upper Marlboro location) if you want a new look for a good price and fast turn around time! Thanks again I love my truck now lol it was ugly before taking it to you guys , thanks again!

I got my car painted here and and upon arrival I discover that my weather strip on my windshield is now missing. And my passenger windshield wiper is not working because it has been damaged. The original price was 1,205 dollars. When I go back to pick the car up, the price went up to 1,260 dollars. I hate when a company messes up something on your car and don’t even attempt to fix it before you pick it up from them. I’m so disappointed. My day is so messed up because of this. And to make matters worse, while inspecting the wiper arms, I see that my top on the brake fluid reservoir was missing. I see that it fell inside the hood under all the components. I had to reach with my hand deep inside, risking burning my hand and getting it stuck trying to retrieve the top. I was successful in getting the top back onto the reservoir. However , the paint job is a good one. Now I’m going to see if they will have the decency and integrity to fix what they’ve broken. If they make this right, I’ll take this post down with the quickness. Update: 11/5/25 Today I see the rust spot coming back in the same spot that I originally took it there to get fixed along with the paint job. I called today and a young woman who answers the phone for them says that I could bring it up there to get it fixed, but I can’t do this, but I could get it fixed, but I can’t do that as if she didn’t want to fix it even though I have an eight year warranty. I suggest to anybody who come here read all the fine print or better yet go to the Maaco in Silver Spring. The guy Ken and his son does a good job At the Silver Spring location, and they honor their work. Do not use,and I repeat! Do not use the Maaco on Crane Highway in Upper Marlboro if you don’t want to lose thousands of dollars. I just left four months ago and the rust spot is coming back. I will never go back to that Macco ever again
