If negative stars were an option, I would rate this place -5. I took my car to this shop after seeing a sign that claimed they work on foreign cars. I own a BMW and take excellent care of it. When I received a notification that my coolant level was low, I decided to bring it here since my job is nearby. An older gentleman, who I assume is Mark, greeted me. The moment I walked into the lobby, I was overwhelmed by the stench of cigarette smoke. While I explained the issue, he was smoking a cigarette and drinking coffee, which did not give a professional impression. He assured me he would call in a few hours with an update. Around 10:30 a.m., he called and claimed I needed a new radiator, quoting $1,400 for the part alone (not including the hose) and estimating 8 hours for the repair. This raised red flags, as I knew it shouldn't take that long to replace a radiator. Suspicious of his honesty, I contacted other shops for a second opinion. It turns out the only issue was a loose hose, which cost me about $200 to fix elsewhere. The so-called "pressure test" he claimed to have done and the diagnosis of a leaking radiator were completely false. Stay far away from this shop! The service is dishonest, and the environment is unpleasant, reeking of smoke. This man is a crook who nearly conned me out of $1,400. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

The Mechanic Alex was a pleasure to work with and understands the importance of relating to the customer.(4stars to him) HOWEVER the OWNER MARK is horrible when it comes to business ethics and customers service. A small misunderstanding when my father walked into the work area. Escalated to Mark mentioning on a couple of times "he could shoot"whoever walked in there. I asked for a break down of the invoice the he told me I was being difficult. He smokes inside of the lobby/ waiting area. His tone and attitude was a turn off and I WILL NOT give that establishment my $$ again.

So yesterday on June 6 2020 I had taken my Toyota to Marks Auto Repair shop just to have my wipers changed. However, I had mentioned to the mechanic named Mark, that I had recently had my alternator changed. I asked him how much would he had charged if he had did the work. He told me to pop the hood, however, when I popped the hood (MARK) what appeared to struggle trying to open my hood. While attempting to open the hood to broke off my top molding on the hood of my car. He immediately stated that he did not do it but would pay for a new one. The following day I came to the shop. The old man was rude and said his son didn’t do any of the damage and told me he wasn’t gonna pay for anything. This establishment is not the type of untrustworthy folks you don’t want to fix on your vehicle. Please see pictures

The guys in this shop know next to nothing. I took my car there for them to fix my AC system. They were quick to charge me even before working on my car. The technician, a heavy smoker, quickly concluded it was an electrical fault without due diligence. Just because he found out my car had an accident before, he put in the free gas I bought and started sermonizing me with cock-and-bull story. They took my $80 and frowned at me when I complained they did a shoddy job. These mechanics are a perfect example of dull brains. If you want to waste your money and time, you may try them with your car.

Complete RIP off!!! They over- charge for work that they don't do. They charged me $200 to fix the window on the driver's side of my '91 Honda. They told me to go to the junkyard to get a rubber part to line the window because the job wasn't completely finished. If I wanted to go somewhere else to get a part to finish a job they were supposed to do then I would have gone somewhere else. Said Zaarta (Mark's Auto-dad) also swiped my bank card several times when I was paying for this transaction. I told him to stop but he kept on trying to get my card to go through. The bank is right down the street so I told him I would get the cash. He sent his adult son (Alex) with me I guess so I wouldn't run away. Lol! I returned, payed, next day checked my bank account only to find my account has been debited twice. Once for the amount of the swiped transaction and again for the cash withdrawal. My advice...BEWARE of SHYSTERS!!! They are out there! They are not the people to take your car to. Check them out on Yelp. Mark Auto Service 6110 MLK Ave. Seat Pleasant, MD I wish I had first.
