I brought my vehicle in for a recall repair and a diagnostic test, and unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly. While Laura’s customer service and knowledge were very impressive, she was professional, informative, and a pleasure to work with. The rest of the process was disappointing. When Brian first contacted me, he was not aware that I had requested a diagnostic test and had not turned the vehicle on to check whether the engine light was on. Instead, the focus immediately shifted to difficulty opening the hood, followed by an $800 estimate to repair the hood latch and wiring, along with a $200 charge just to open the hood. This was frustrating, as the hood had been opened multiple times prior to the visit by myself, the previous owner, and a private mechanic without issue. Although I was provided video documentation for other concerns, no evidence was provided to support the hood access charge. I can say with certainty that I did not bring my car in this condition as I just purchased it and the inside is in great condition. Plus these vehicles are so small there's no way I would have not notice such damage. Lesson learned: if you plan to leave your vehicle here for service, make sure you document and record its condition beforehand. I value transparency and professionalism, and unfortunately, this experience fell short.
