Bought a car from them, paid 5k out the door. Test drove & everything was fine. Not even 2 weeks later it wouldn’t reverse, and had CLEAR transmission issues. The told me to bring it back twice. First time I brought it back they “replaced” a part that I had already told them I had repaired since it was on the cheaper side. The issues continued, was told to bring it back again and they would change the transmission fluid. Magically all codes were cleared, and everything SEEMED to be going okay with it… fast forward to now and we are back to the SAME issues. No reverse, shifting out of wack, and codes reappeared. I don’t recommend this place AT ALL, unless you like to get scammed out of your money, this place sold this car to me IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN, knowing that they’d end up with 0 transportation in the near future. Now here I am, with another child on the way, and 0 vehicle at all. Thanks Monterey motors!!!! 🤢
