Purchased a car through their Vehicle Donation Program and have had nothing but issues with this car that allegedly passed MD State Inspection by another good ole boy auto shop in town. Within a week of purchase, the radiator blew, major oil leaks, and within 6 months of purchase, blown head gaskets. Trying to sell this vehicle now and being told by another mechanic that this car should never have passed inspection due to exhaust and other tire rode issues. Please do not purchase a car from this mechanic shop. Save your money and go to a shop that knows what they are doing and hires real mechanics and no young kids from the STEM program to work on customer’s vehicles. I feel like I was sold a lemon from the start. Totally frustrated with the place.

I don’t know how anyone would rate this place 5*. I read good reviews before I took my vehicle there. But boy was it disappointing. Took it back 3 times and they still didn’t fix it. With my husband having health issues is why I took it somewhere. He has worked in automotive all his life. So the 3rd time it came back it was the same as the first time. My husband decided he was going to look at it and popped the tire off and right away he could tell they haven’t even cleaned anything or change the hardware which they stated they did. My husband fixed it and went back and showed them pictures and right away they said we’re not giving you any money back. By the way when we took it back the 2nd time they charged us for labor which is a joke you didn’t fix it the first time, I could see paying for parts if needed but it didn’t. I would NEVER suggest this place to anyone!! I think their a bunch of crooks!!!

Wow the customer service exceptional! We brought in a foreign car that had many lights on and Archie was able to address all issues and make the recommendations for repair. He kept me well informed of the process and we thought the pricing for the work was very fair. Our family plans to use Mushroom again. Thank you so much!
