[Great Service In-Store, Horrible Service Once You Leave] My experience at the National Motors dealership on November 17, 2025, started off great. The staff was kind, considerate, and worked with me to get a deal done. I was genuinely pleased with the service. However, the moment I drove off the lot, that positive experience came to a complete halt. The problems started immediately. I was given only one key fob, and the lock/unlock buttons were missing. I was assured they would provide a new set, but that never happened. To this day, I have to be standing right next to the driver's side door to unlock my car and then manually unlock all the other doors for my passengers, and lock when getting out of car. The financial issues were just as frustrating. I authorized a specific amount for my deposit, and then called and spoke with an employee to change it to a lower amount. Not only did they withdraw the original, larger amount, but they also attempted to take extra an $50 on top of that, which I had to point out to them myself when I paid off the remainder of the deposit. The lack of communication has been astounding. My temporary tags expired on January 21st, and I had to call them repeatedly to get an update on my hard tags. They never reached out to me once. I finally received my plates on January 23rd, but only after I physically went to the dealership to get them. I am still waiting for the promised second key fob and proof of my car's inspection. I've called multiple times and have been promised callbacks that never come. Just last Friday, I spoke to two different employees, and I am still waiting for a response. It's infuriating because I held up my end of the bargain by paying my deposit. The customer service I've received after the sale is unacceptable, and I am tired of being jerked around. Since I can't get a response through phone calls, I'm turning to public reviews. Consider this my outlet, along with Google and the Better Business Bureau, to warn others about the horrible, ongoing experience I've had. I will never use National Motors again, and I strongly recommend that others avoid them.

I recently purchased a car here and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Bilal Elkhateeb provided exceptional assistance from start to finish. He and the entire team were professional, helpful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I am very satisfied with my new vehicle and highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for great service!

Just like another post had said here I too would give this dealership a zero if it was an option because they suck at communication. I had bought a 2025 Honda Civic Sport back in October 28 2025, and have yet to get my license plate. I had drove about 2 hours to get to Ellicott City MD as I live in Delaware. I have called them almost every week in the month of December and only got an extended temp tag that expires on Jan 26 2026, my original temp tag expired December 27 2025 by the way. I have called the DMV in DE and they have told me that the dealership has not given them anything yet, I have yet to know who has been lying to me but I believe it is this dealership with the way they have handled things so far. I called this dealership today, which is Jan 15 2026 at 9:20 am and the woman on the line told me to call back at 12 pm as the finance manager isn't there (she is never there until 12 pm apparently), so yea don't buy here. UPDATE (Jan 29, 2026): The dealership, whoever they bought the car from, doesn’t even have the title into their own name. How did I find out? I called Langley FCU that I’m paying my car loan through and they let me know that they themselves also do not have the title of my car, so I’m paying for a car that I don’t have registered to myself at all… fun. Oh also my extended temp tag expired Jan 26 and now I can’t even drive the car I’m paying for. Now remember guys I bought this car on October 28th 2025. This dealership didn’t waste no time though to deposit my check that was specifically for tags and the title so where did that money go if I don’t have my tags and the FCU doesn’t have the title? Sounds fishy doesn’t it. UPDATE (Feb 27, 2026): Finally got my plate and registration today after four months of dealing with them and then the DMV in Delaware helped a lot with getting me a duplicate plate as well, also I turned this dealership in to the MVA so we will see if anything ever happens with that. Good luck to anyone else who bought here.
