Known Omar for at least 5 years. Has always done good work at a very fair price. I think he actually looks at the work done and prices it based on what he would want to pay if his role with the customer was reversed. I am real particular about thoroughly researching the parts needed and getting the best quality for the best price equation solved on my own. Usually that means Amazon or Ebay, and l save a lot of money because Omar will put them on for me. Most auto repair shops - especially the major corporate branded ones - will only put parts on if they purchase them. This is an excuse for an exorbitant parts markup that pads their bottom line. For instance, l went to Mr. Tire to use a Groupon for a 4 Tire alignment. They told me that l needed a new front wheel bearing assembly and their part price was $260. I found one for under $35 on Amazon and bought 2 and still saved nearly $200 on 2x the part. Car has 111,000 miles, best to make sure that the bearing assemblies are equal since l plan on getting 100,000+ miles out of this car. Mr. Tire wanted another $260 to put on one bearing assembly, Omar put both on for me up front for $150 total. So my parts and labor for both front wheels was $230, which was a lot less than the $520+ that Mr.Tire wanted for only one wheel!. That is not counting the bogus "shop supplies" fees and such that Omar never charges.
