I try to be really fair when writing reviews, so I'll try not to let my frustration get the best of me. We ended up with this company because we have AAA and that's who they called. It was 5:30pm on a Sunday, so kudos to them for answering the phone. However, it took him (Scott) 3 hours to get to us, and he showed up with a passenger (we assume his wife, but we don't know for sure), so there was no room for us to travel with our vehicle. We just had to trust that it would make it to the repair shop safely. It did, but we didn't know that until the next morning, so it was rather stressful. Also, we were 5 miles from our accommodations, and when we asked if there was any way he could take us there, he was snarky. He said he would leave and we could call somebody else and pay their prices and hope that AAA would reimburse us. We declined that recommendation and let him take our vehicle, but he didn't have to make an already stressful situation worse. He then called a friend who has a party bus, whose base rate is $125...to go 5 miles!!! He informed us there is no Lyft or Uber in the area, but still couldn't be bothered to give us a ride. We ended up walking the 5 miles, in the dark, because he had taken so long to get to us in the first place. I understand it's not his responsibility to give us a ride, which is why he gets more than 1 star. If the roles had been reversed, I would have stayed at the gas station while my husband took care of the customers and then came back for me.

My car broke down up in the mountains as I was driving from Wisconsin to DC for vacation, just as I was coming into Maryland. I had to call AAA. AAA wanted to tow my car to some place in the middle of nowhere and the driver was kind enough to suggest I would be better off paying to tow down to Oakland else I wouldn't have anywhere to stay for the night. He dropped me off at the motel and made sure they had a room before he took my car to the shop. The next day I had to rent a Uhaul from him to get to a different city due to some shenanigans with no one having any rental cars anywhere. As he was about to confirm the destination that rental place called and said they actually didn't have any cars. He was not only patient but also helped find other locations along my route and how close they were to the nearest Uhaul since I would have to walk between the two.

Nobody wants to be "that person" whose car breaks down in the evening on a holiday, but that person was me this past Memorial Day weekend. And I'm sure nobody wants to be the responder, since folks would prefer to be relaxing with their families. I was in Maryland trying to get home to West Virginia when my tire blew. (I'm omitting a long story about AAA fumbling my service call). One Stop came to the rescue and they were great, driving from a great distance after dark - while not feeling well - and towing me even further. Much gratitude to these folks!

Scott and Brian were amazing! They were able to bring my car three hours from Deep Creek. The process was simple and they communicated the whole time. Very professional! 10/10!
