I had a trusted mechanic that I went to for many many years... We moved up to the Harford County and I still drove back to my mechanic. A friend referred me to Alan at Otter Point for an emergency repair and I was very impressed with the service and honesty. Well it's been more than 5 years since that has happened and I am now a loyal customer of Otter Point Automotive . Alan, Tom and Lee are great mechanics and are always friendly. My previous mechanic says it's hard to find a good mechanic and is happy I found one closer to home. The best thing I can say is that Alan is very honest about the work even when there is something unexpected he does his best to fix it in a timely and cost effective manor. Otter Point Auto is a rare find. Honest mechanics who are to busy to be liars! They have enough real work to keep them busy and a large loyal following.

Otter point replaced the engine in my F150. They did an excellent job, they were fair, honest, and upfront with me throughout the process. They always answered the phone when I called. They also went out of their way to replace a few parts that were bad and would have likely caused problems in the future. Its been a few months and j have had zero problems, I appreciate a mechanic that does the job right the 1st time

Alan is honest, trustworthy, kind, and knowledgeable, which are all qualities that are hard to find. He is thorough and has excellent customer service. I highly recommend using Alan at Otter Point automotive for all you mechanical needs!!

RIP OFF! I spent over $1000 on a new battery and alternator. It hasn't even been a full 6 months & the battery has died & was leaking. This place is a scam. Unless you know about cars, I suggest you don't go here because they will overcharge you & lie about what work is actually being done to the car.

Reputable company. Honest guy. A bit pricey but you pay for what you get. Pay now or pay much more later. Done right the first time and all work comes with warranty. I posted a review earlier for another shop that was not so reputable under this company. My apologies to this owner.
