I recently brought my Hyundai Elantra into the Ourisman Hyundai service center, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience thanks to Sean. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. He took the time to clearly explain what my car needed, provided honest recommendations, and made sure I fully understood every step of the service process. Sean’s communication was outstanding, he kept me updated throughout the entire visit, answered all my questions with patience, and made me feel completely confident that my car was in great hands. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about both the customer and the quality of their work, but Sean goes above and beyond. When I picked up my Elantra, it ran smoother than ever, and I could tell the service was done with real attention to detail. It’s experiences like this that build long term trust, and I’ll definitely be returning because of the excellent customer service Sean provided. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, transparent, and truly committed to great service, ask for Sean, you won’t be disappointed!

I arrived at 3:00 PM for my scheduled oil change appointment. Shortly after arriving, I noticed a vacuum cleaner and politely asked Donnell if I could use it. His response made me feel uncomfortable for even asking, so I told him never mind. Thankfully, Sidney completely changed that experience. Sidney was friendly, professional, and even offered to help without hesitation. His attitude was welcoming and customer-focused, and he made me feel valued as a customer. He is the only reason this experience wasn’t entirely negative. I confirmed that I was there for my 3:00 PM oil change. By 4:30 PM, an hour and a half later. I still had not received any update. When I approached Donnell to ask what was going on, he stated that he had sent a text at 4:17 PM. If I did not respond to the text, the appropriate action would have been to come speak to me directly, especially since I was physically there waiting. Donnell’s communication was extremely poor. There was no sense of urgency, no courtesy update, and no respect for my time. While I sat waiting without any information, he appeared more focused on being on his phone and socializing than ensuring customers were properly informed. Sidney demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and kindness. Donnell demonstrated the complete opposite, poor communication, lack of attentiveness, and disregard for a customer’s time. I strongly suggest recognizing Sidney for his excellent customer service and addressing the serious communication issues with Donnell so that other customers do not experience the same frustration.

Took my car in for a check engine light diagnosis. I told the attendant that I had a ride. I wasn’t told a timeframe but that they would be in touch. Four days later, and zero communication, I called and got someone who said they would send over my estimate. I received it, made my decisions, sent it back and heard nothing from them for another three days. I called multiple times to no avail. My wife called, finally got someone, and they apologized for the miscommunication—we were willing to let it slide. We understand folks get busy. However, during that call, they said it would be another day. We received no communication for three more days. At this point they’ve had the car for over a week with little to no communication. Eventually, we receive a call saying more work needs to be done and it will be another day or so. Alright. Then ZERO communication over the next week. We call multiple times and no one answers the phone. FINALLY, receive a call, after they’ve had the car for 2 WEEKS. It’s ready to pick up. We go in to pick up only to receive the car with the engine light STILL ON and now featuring a brand new NOISE that it didn’t make before I brought it in. I was told I would be contacted first thing on Monday for them to rectify it and haven’t heard one single word. Called today and was stonewalled. Do NOT bring your vehicle here: they are unprofessional, uncommunicative, and will mess up your vehicle.

TL;DR; I was very disappointed with my experience at this dealership, I will very likely never be returning here again. They have a horrible lack of communication, inaccurate time estimates, and the shuttle service is unreliable. I came in for a repair of an oil filter housing leak that Firestone found that was under warranty. I was told that it should take 2-3 hours when setting up the appointment. I brought it in on a Thursday morning and was quoted 2-3 hours for the appointment. I called multiple times throughout the day trying to get status updates on the car but everyone said that they couldn't reach my service advisor and they'd send them an email to have them call me back. I didn't get a call back with an update until they'd had the car for over 6 hours, at which point they'd only just finished with the diagnostics. I couldn't wait for it so I had to bring it back on Monday. But the irritation doesn't end there. On Thursday, when they said the car was ready, I used their shuttle service. It took the shuttle 1.5 hours to come and pick me up - from a place 7 mins away from the dealership. On Monday when I brought it in, I was quoted 2-3 hours for the repair. I called after the car was there for 5 hours and they again said that they couldn't reach my service advisor and they'd send them an email to have them call me back. After it happened again half an hour later, I frustratingly took a Lyft to the dealership and they told me that the car was done and they called me twice and left a voicemail 3.5 hours ago - which I never received. They claimed that they recently got a new phone system which she attributed the problem to - although you'd think that when I called before someone would've been able to tell me that my car was done.

Worst dealership to deal with. I brought my car in for a warranty recall for the rearview camera. 3 months shy of being a year of no calls to say they have the part. I’ve called multiple times to ask and okay the musical phone game and being passed to person to person. Leave voicemails and no response. Called again today to service they transferred me to parts. Parts picked up and said it was a service issue and to ask them to got transferred back to service for service to hang up on me. I can’t go anywhere else to get it fixed. Since this Hyundai had already started the work. They put in a faulty camera that doesn’t work. So now we have no camera and no appointment to get it fixed. Once and if this is fixed. Will NOT be coming back. (Other Hyundais in the area have the part)
